(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) best dishwasher yet , I don't understand the " 30 characters too short" part please enlighten me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is truly quiet and has a great capacity due to the third rack. Putting our flatware and smaller utensils in the third rack allows the silverware basket to be removed, freeing up more space for awkwardly shaped bowls and containers. Less hand washing for me! I also love the stainless steel interior and the many options for cycles and drying. I have yet to use all of them since the Normal cycle is so effective!
Third rack is awesome! It was a bit more pricey on Walmart versus Home Depot and other retailers for the same exact model. $200 more to be exact. That was the downfall. Also, the drying isn't as advertised. Its better than my old one, but, not significantly better as I was hoping. You still have to hand dry some things especially anything plastic like lids. If it wasn't for the $200 mark up with Walmart sellers versus Lowes or Home Depot, it would have had a full 5 star from me because it is so very quiet, it has all the features I wanted and cleans like a dream. The unit itself is wonderful, to purchase through Walmart is the only real downfall due to the significant markup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a few months ago and really enjoy it. Gets my dishes clean and is not very loud. I only gave it four stars because the one thing I wish it had was an auto delay where I could start the washer and have it run later.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not at all comparable to my 2010 Kitchen-aid. The dishwasher is lightweight and seems flimsy. The materials used in the build are low quality. The rack rollers will probably be the first to go. I will say that it does get the dishes clean, but I don't know if I'd be putting my name on a product like that. Just being honest here. If I ever buy another appliance, it will be after I check it out in the store.
Bought this DW in March of 25. A plumber installed it but it wouldn't drain. Called another plumber to repair the issue. no problem found with the install but still unit wouldn't drain. April 25 I scheduled a repair right with Whirlpool's repair service. I heard nothing so a few weeks later I phoned them and was told they found no problem! What?? It does not drain. So now, one month out of warranty and I still have a dishwasher filled with water to the point the heating element is rusted. My daughter refused to use it and hand washed her dishes all year. I think the lemon law should apply. New dishwasher has NEVER worked correctly! .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is absolutely garbage. The “start” button stopped working exactly 10 days after the warranty expired. Our last Maytag dishwasher lasted 10 years, this one lasted one year. So disappointing that they sell such low quality products.
This dishwasher is great besides it has one very common problem. The control board will give out within the first two years. This is a very common problem with hundreds of people documenting this online. Once the control board gives out you dishwasher will not work unless you hard reset it each time to run but then it will not stop unless you cancel. Seems like Whirlpool is aware of this issue but has done nothing to resolve the issue. DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!
This dishwasher was purchased Augustk of 2025 and has failed already. The dishwasher was starting on its own randomly for a few days and has now stopped working completely. After this happened I went to look up my dishwasher on line and saw this review almost verbatim to what happened to us. So I'm posting this review. Hopefully someone will help us figure out this dirty mess. I do not want to wash my dishes by hand.
After having this product less than two years, the start button no longer functions. Spent extra money to have a Whirlpool believing I would not need to replace it for years to come, only to be in the opposite position. Product was used as intended and still had a failure.
