(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is my second whirlpool washer. The first one lasted 15 years so I didn't even look at another brand. So far the machine is working well. Easy to use and lots of room in the tub. Very pleased so far.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Have used this washer for a few months now. It's excellent. Quiet, fast and very efficient. It also handles large loads easily. So a good deal I highly recommend!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this washer last month and I am still playing with it. The digital display is great because I can see it from a distance and I love that it plays a tone when I start up and the cycle is complete. Do wish it came with hoses though.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this unit with our condo package that came with the dryer , a stackable pair. They both are great. look great , function really well. The only thing is with the washer,The front door is not reversible i.e. you can't have a swing on the right side which for us is a bit of a difficulty loading or unloading because of the placement of the washer in the laundry room.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this unit about 2 months ago and it still works. The model it replaces unfortunately had a catastrophic tub failure which was not economically feasible to repair. This washer does not have as many comfort features such as a simple drum light, does not have the load & go feature for detergent (this model uses all of the detergent that you load) and the detergent loading compartment sliding door cannot open when the front washer loading door is open. Kinda ridiculous really! Not sure that I would buy another Whirlpool appliance after the last two experiences. Do your research and read the reviews.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using this washer for over a year and recently I had problems where the cycles get stuck. For example, if I put the mold to sanitize or heavy duty or even in normal modes, the washer rinses but it doesn't drain. It doesn't move on to the next cycle which is the drain. I have tried to access the filter so I could clean it but unfortunately Whirlpool built the washer in a way the user cannot access the filter without dismantling the front of the washer.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is the second Whirlpool washer in a row I've purchased. The previous one had repeated problems with the control board failing and needing to be replaced. It happened three times in less than 4 years since purchased brand new. The last time, replacing the control board didn't fix the problem, and all there was left to do was replace the machine, at not even 4 years old. Against my better judgement, I bought essentially the same model again brand new, and less than a year since buying it, I am having the same issue again with this machine. The control board has again failed and I was again without a working washing machine for 3 weeks waiting for the part to be replaced. Whirlpool seemingly has no interest in standing by the quality of their product, essentially telling me that I could buy an extended warranty if I want the parts and service to continue to be covered, not seeing any issue with the fact that their product can't go more than a year and a half without needing critical parts replaced.
worst washer ever . bought this 4 years ago and ever since we struggle with it. it " LOC " itself all the time and i keep forgetting the sequence to unlock it . after most washes that are like 136 minutes it still needs a " SPIN AND DRAIN" . We get errors all the time E1 F9 , i checked pipes for blockages and all very disappointed in this product ;(
I purchased a new washer with high hopes of a smooth and efficient laundry experience. I had a Whirlpool prior to this for 16 years and no problem. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment as this machine proved to be a complete disaster. From its excessive shaking to its ear-splitting noise, this washer has left me regretting my purchase decision. Let's start with the most evident issue - the shaking. As soon as I loaded my first laundry load, I noticed that the washer violently shook during the entire wash cycle. It felt as if an earthquake had struck my laundry room. Not only is this unsettling, but it is also quite concerning for the longevity of the machine itself. I find myself constantly worrying if this shaking is causing any damage to either the washer or my floors. To make matters worse, the noise emitted by this washer is unbearable. In this modern age, where technology strives to make our lives easier and quieter, I expected a washer that would operate with minimal disruptions. However, it seems that this particular model missed the memo. It's as if a construction site has taken residence in my laundry room. Overall, I cannot express my disappointment strongly enough. The shaking, and the noise all contribute to my negative experience with this washer. I would strongly advise against purchasing this model if you value peace and tranquility in your laundry routine.
The indicator lights to customize Temperature, Spin and Soil do not work properly, The blue dots should light up one at a time as you cycle through the different settings but selecting the third option lights up the third and fourth dot. I wouldn't be this upset if Whirlpool just admitted that it's a defect but they are denying it is which insults my intelligence. I used to have a Whirlpool washer and dryer which I loved and the only reason I upgraded to another Whirlpool. After this experience, I will never purchase Whirlpool again.
