Whirlpool WG1202PH 0.5HP Continuous Feed In-Sink Garbage Feed

This is pretty much within the average use life for this unit and those of most other brands. I ordered a direct replacement to simplify the installation and everything works as it should. No leaks and as quiet as rhe unit before it.

I found this disposal online at a local appliance shop for a great price, it was super easy to install, felt/looked like a quality product and works like a charm. It also has a 1 year warranty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the second in-sink garbage disposal unit we had. Works like a champ! The first one lasted 10-years, with it really getting a workout. When it finally started getting too loud, we knew we would buy the same unit again. Easy 15 minute change out, and we're up running!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this disposer hoping it was an easy drop-in replacement. Was able to install by myself in about 90 minutes including removal of old disposer. Only negative was that it took about 3 weeks to receive due to shortages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really well in its basic functionality. A little noisy, but that's not a major issue. One feature it lacks that I had in my last unit (an Insinkerator brand unit), is that you can't pull the sink-side rubber piece out easily to reach in and remove something that went in unintentionally, like a utensil, or just clean it (and trust me, they can get pretty disgusting). But it does the basic job of disposing of food waste.
