They work as they should.
Received merchandise when they said. Easy to do business with them.
This water system has eliminated the need to buy bottled water. Down here in FL the water has residual chemicals, chlorine, bacteria and sediment. This system eliminates all impurities and for drinking water, coffee machine refills, cooking and more there is always fresh water on tap. Can't imagine living without it now!
These filters arrived quickly and were very easy to install. This is my first time replacing the filters and I was a little intimidated by the idea, but it could not have been easier.
They worked great at first but they must be plugged up because the water won't run so I would like to order some more to see if it is our water or the filters that is the problem.
These must be very old filters. The post filter has the first generation outlet which constricts the flow and the water comes out slow. Don't get me wrong; they still do the job of filtering, but I had to buy replacements again at Lowe's to get the post filter to flow faster.
For ten plus years 2015 to 2025 the factory WHEERF under counter pre and post filters supplied in a sealed package with two identical filters has been unchanged up to ones purchased in March 2025. Purchased a two pack of the Whirlpool WHEERF filters12/4/2025 and now the two supplied factory Whirlpool filters are different. One filter assembly is a purple two O-Ring nipple common to the several past years production with an approximate 1/8 inch or 3mm opening and the other still being identified as a WHEERF filter has an orange two O-Ring nipple with an approximate 1/16 inch or 1.5mm opening. No indication on using smaller diameter hole one as pre or post RO filter. Without any documentation of implementing a change, I'll test using the small diameter hole from the two pack of WHEERF filters as a pre-filter and see what happens. Hopefully the change Whirlpool made is for the better and provide users with revised install instructions for 2026.
With the new changed post filter. Small opening orange color instead of two identical purple. My water has no pressure anymore. Whirlpool needs to fix this. For years I had no issues
The water is cloudy. Even after running it with the new filter installed for over 36 hours. I have replaced the filters in my unit several times and never experienced this issue. This is the first and last time I will buy filters from this site.
Since Whirlpool changed the WHEERF post filter to a smaller orifice, my RO system only trickles water. Support says I can't buy the older style filters. I guess I'll have to get a new system.
