I've used these filters for years, but these were terrible. In fact, I've ordered two in a row and they've both been terrible. I did all the trouble shooting, but nothing worked. I will be returning these. And I have replaced my RO system completely. And now the water tastes amazing.
When I first bought this, those filters were $32 isn't it awful how high that membrane filter is and the two that does all the work you get them both for $47 ridiculous
The RO membrane cannister fit perfectly into my WHER25 model, which is now probably considered a dinosaur. I'm very thankful Walmart is still carrying it in stick and for a very reasonable price. Thank you xoxo
Our Whirlpool RO System is now working well and the taste of the water is what it should be after going thru' the filters tin system.
These can be difficult to get, due to Model Number Change - but are still Sold. But, Walmart did it very well.
I bought this water filter several years ago, and then struggled to find the correct filters. The membrane filter seemed to be unavailable. After awhile, I give up; but recently decided to look again. Lo and behold, I found it on the very website I had attempted to use unsuccessfully several years earlier; all i ever got were "out of stock" messages. Now I have; my water pruifier is working perfectly, and I am very, very pleased!
The filter that I received is leaking under my kitchen sink. Needless to say I am not satisfied with this product considering the high cost. I now have a soggy cabinet under my sink and cannot remove the filter. I had to shut off the water supply and am into bottled water for my needs. This product is totally unsatisfactory and now I have a worse situation than before I installed it. A replacement that doesn't leak would be great.
This is an original Whirlpool part and comes at a very good price.
I learned so much about my Reverse Osmosis system. It was in a home I bought, so I was not familiar with the system. When replacing the pre, post and RO cartridge, I learned about getting the “feel” right, so I know all is “engaged”.
The reverse osmosis filter is a must, the water where I live is a mess. At least for now we still have water.
