(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Still figuring it out as there are so many options for cooking various things, but I did use the steam basket/dish for steamed carrots and it did a fabulous job. From time to time the date reverts to January 1. I guess every day is a new year! Not sure what is happening there - if it is something being pushed or what. Hasn't happened for a week now, so will see what happens. Otherwise, it is working great.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Had this about a month. Long time to heat on convection over 350 degrees but acceptable as a second source to either my toaster over or oven. I really like the electronic touch pad. I have it connected to the internet and can perform a number of functions with my phone. It does reboot randomly from time to time but does recover without intervention.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this microwave when our old Jenn-air died suddenly. It has a great design appeal making any Kitchen look good. It is easy use and it heats up well. We installed it in September 2018 and the only problem we have had is the screen seems like it goes to sleep but it does not want to wake up unless we unplug the unit. Likewise, we have not been able to connect the app so far but we did connect the microwave to our WIFI network manually.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very quiet. Works great. Tried cooking potatoes on convection, very crispy.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Am enjoying this convention microwave. It looks great in my kitchen. My only complaint is that, when set for convection cooking, it takes too long to preheat. The touch panel is easy to use.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Excellent in all aspects, including having the convection option, however the screen began acting up after about a month of use. Also requires you update your location correctly in your profile, otherwise you get UTC time. Currently have a service tech visit scheduled. It may be worth waiting for iteration 2.0.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Brand new microwave & a brand new fridge by whirlpool & both have had issues so far. The microwave doesn't heat as well & as fast as my old one. The touch pad buttons can't be seen in the dark, don't light up. It resets the date & time on its own & occasionally shut down on its own as well. We are anxiously awaiting our oven ordered in July. I truly hope it doesn't come with issues as we will then have 3 bad experiences with Whirlpool. Just don't make things like they used to. Good thing we bought extra coverage.
It was professionally installed in August. It didn't work from the start. 3 service calls (and a new door) and it still didn't work right. They sent a replacement unit, and it has OTHER PROBLEMS. Like others have said, this is a poorly designed unit. VERY noisy exhaust fan. Almost no air suction at the intake grilles. Why so noisy, and so little air movement?? The APP and WiFi...forgot about it...seems like they'll never get it to work if they haven't by now. Please don't make the same mistake I did...far too much stress and there are other machines to choose.
We ordered this last January, did not arrive until maybe April. Since then we have had full door replaced once and are currently waiting on second replacement. Screen freezes up, will not scroll through, wont start unless you open and shut door, clock continues to resent, sometimes screen goes black have to unplug to reset and sometimes screen goes crazy and picks things on its own as well as turns light on and off. Currently waiting for second door replacement week 3 now and can not leave it plugged in
Had this microwave for just a few days over a year now , started having issues with the touch screen display after 6 months , contacted customer service via the in app email function , no response , issue continued m constantly unplugging to reboot the unit. Now exactly 14 days after the warranty has expired the unit does not heat , complete piece of junk , do not buy any unit that has electronic touch screen .
