Whirlpool WRS312SNHW 22 Cu.Ft. Freestanding Side-by-Side Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace a 31+ year old Whirlpool refrigerator with an almost identical newer model. Of course it fit in the space perfectly even with being a few inches deeper. I love the newer solid shelves so pop bottles don’t fall over. The door shelves are also deeper so there is more room. It was frustrating with how many stickers and how much tape that had to be removed. There is not quite the same flexibility with the cooling settings as it is in whole numbers with no half numbers in between. I wish I knew what times the freezer auto defrost was set to take place thinking this should be at night but happens during the day. But overall I am very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just love new fridge...never had a side by side before & definitely wanted one...didn't want ice maker & had to fit in a small spot in wall...found all these needs with this Whirlpool ❗️ Was definitely worth the search & wait...have had Kenmores in the past...& they lasted forever...not even sure they make anymore...but I'd still go with the Whirlpool....thanks for a great product ❗️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a thirty plus year amana side by side with this one. This style fits our space the best. I probably could have rebuilt the Amana but decided for new technologies. So far this is much improved. Quieter than the old one and better lighting. And most importantly more space at least in the refrigerator side. Less space in the freezer but worth the compromise. We have a freezer or refrigerator unit as an overflow when needed. Overall this unit fits perfectly for our needs in the space we currently have.

It is just the perfect size for the space I have, It has plenty of space for large items as well as smaller ones. I like the side/by/side as the previous fridge I had had the drawer at the bottom which was less convenient than the side freezer which I now have

The space we had for a new refrigerator was limited due to the configuration of the cabinets in our kitchen, and this model provides us with lots of useable space in both the freezer and refrigerator sections. And it looks great too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this refrigerator a week, so these are my initial Impressions and what I've had to deal with so far. I have found that the shelving and space and how everything is laid out is really flexible and the pockets in the doors are nice and deep. The front of it cleans up really easy, I use the stainless steel wipe cloths that come in a canister. I've had to obviously adjust the temperature in both the refrigerator and the freezer side. Having the refrigerator set on the ideal setting as it's marked was freezing my vegetables so I said it one lower and it's at about 32° and it seems fine.

Drawers are terrible and never stay in place and jam all the time. Worst of all it does not keep a constant temperature. It's either way too warm or freezes everything solid and it fluctuates without me even changing the settings. Never buying a whirlpool fridge or appliance again based on this experience.

Do not waste your money. We purchased this model through a small appliance store and had to order online. In a bind because our fridge suddenly stopped working. I thought this product would be more of a matte black as pictured, and for the price be of much higher quality. The black model is super shiny and looks cheap. A paper towel will scratch the surface. It came with scratch lines you could see immediately, does not clean up well, and will drive you absolutely crazy. A non-scratch sponge scratches it, paper towels scratch it, looking at it will scratch it. Is not worth the headache.
