Whirlpool WRS571CIHZ 21 Cu. Ft. Stainless Counter Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator

I purchased this fridge to replace the standard size fridge I had. It fits beautifully in the space and makes such a huge difference being "counter depth". Expensive to switch out, but worth it. I debated doing this for a while, but very happy I did.

Bought this a month ago and am so glad I did! It is so quiet, produces lots of ice, and seems to have tons of room, despite being counter depth. Just wish it came with all the shelves it has spots for. Love the ice and water in the door and the option of crushed ice or cubed!

We've had this refrigerator for a month now, I'm very pleased with it. Our old refrigerator was much too large for the space it was in. This counter depth whirlpool is exactly what we needed. I had to get used to a slightly smaller fridge, but there's ample shelf & drawer storage. I really like the bright lights inside the fridge, it makes it easy to see everything inside. The water & ice dispenser work great, though the ice machine can be a bit loud when refilling. Overall this was a great purchase!

I will give this a five star, as this unit seem to have one of the most favorable reviews over other brands. It fits well into our existing space, yet has a very functional interior space. Refrigerator door bins really provide more space for smaller condiments that took up so much space on shelves of previous unit. Also freezer has more usable shelve space because of Ice maker design.----We have a 30 year Whirlpool Refrigerator still working. If this one goes even 15 years, then Whirlpool, you will get a 6th star. I am trusting it will not fail just after the 10th year like the one we just replaced.(It was not a Whirlpool)

The extra space that this fridge provides compared to a typical side by side is worth it! It's in a fairly narrow galley kitchen and it sticks out a couple of inches or so from my counter. So when lots of people are in the kitchen it's no big deal. Also it has lots of room, so able to store lots of food and enough beer for a party all at the same time.

Fits great in my galley style kitchen. See photos below. Love the lighting inside and the amount of room. Plenty of space for a two person household. Only negatives: paying more for a white model and the two week delay in delivery. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase. Improvements that I would like to see include one more shelf in the freezer and one more door bin in the refrigerator.

Really like the space. Changed from a french door type to this side by side. Technically fewer cubic feet. But feels bigger. Did have to order 1 fridge side door bin and two freezer glass shelves. It is loud but it works great. The old french door other brand just never worked right.

Bought this when I got my house. It's pretty quiet and I love that the ice box is in the door which saves shelf space in the freezer. My favorite thing about it is that the drawers are on wheels and that makes it soooooo much easier to open when the drawers are full. The only downside is that because it's counter depth (the only size that would fit in my kitchen, unfortunately) the bottom drawer is small (all the equipment has to go somewhere...). But it has plenty of space, we only planned for 2 people but ended up having 4 for a few months and had no problem fitting everything in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] refrigerator works ok so far - need to be careful where you place items if you block vents will freeze your food in the refrigerator. Also air filter housing makes noise - and there was no filter included when we received it so we had to buy filters. The air filter is to cut down on smells nice idea — poor execution - would be nice to have refrigerator that just works and lasts. Would have rated lower but all new refrigerators seem to be junk so this is as good as anything else you can get.

This refrigerator freezer has been working fine for us in terms of temperature control, overall durability and most aspects but the icemaker is a disaster. The wires that go into the in-door system started breaking after two years and now five years and we are told we should buy a new door. Very poorly designed power supply to the door due to breaking wires.
