[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only started running this a month ago. So far, OK. This said, a better review point is 5 yrs after purchase. Is it still running? Trouble free? We have had refrigerators that ran without issue for 40-50 years. Will this one measure up?
This is a secondary appliance, in our shop. It's smaller than the last one in there and we like that. It's quiet. We bought it for it's simplicity. Today, it can be difficult to find a 'plain jane' appliance and we are glad they are still being made.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was purchased for an office refrigerator. It has modern features and a clean modern appearance. The size is perfect for the office staff to keep their lunches and daily beverages/supplies cool. The refrigerator is mostly silent and does not add any significant background noise. I would recommend this item.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought a basic 14 cu.ft refrigerator as that was the only one available for a decent price that would fit into the slot in our 1986 kitchen. We are as content with the appliance as we can be, given the constraints regarding the shelves inside.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator works fine. Wish I could have gotten a bigger size. Was limited by height requirements. My old Whirlpool was larger but same height. I believe it was wider.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this small refrigerator, for my almost 100-year-old house! Finding an appliance that fits compact space leaves me with very few options. This fridge, however, almost slid in perfectly but I did have to remove the solid oak vintage trim to get it in there. A plus for me was the reversible door feature. Being able to choose whether it opens to the left or right made all the difference in making it work. Honestly, I don't need my fridge to communicate with me or send text. My only real complaint, and it's a bit of an ongoing one, is that the freezer door tends to pop open whenever I close the main fridge door. I do have to remember to give the freezer a quick check each time to make sure it's sealed properly, so I don't end up with an unexpected thaw. The other thing I miss is a meat drawer. Overall, if you're in a similar situation with limited space or an older home, this fridge is definitely worth considering. Just be mindful of that freezer door!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the plus side, the unit is very quiet - when not cooling, basically soundless. Freezer compartment is large, with two shelving units in the door. The main part of the fridge only has two shelving units in the door, but the instructions show that perhaps a third could be added on the bottom. Thee thermostat control on the one hand is convenient, front and center over the top shelve, but that also means any large items must be moved around to the back or the sides of that shelf. Produce bins are also roomy. Probably overall too small for a family but a good size for a single person or someone who doesn't require much cold storage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is fine, but upon changing door to other side I found out that it is missing 2 bolts that hold the wheels in place? This is a problem and missing from the factory. Still trying to get bolts but it's been a pain so far. So refrigerator isn't level at and not connected, and don't know if there is support to have them installed? I even purchased warranty!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was limited on the size of the refrigerator due to the amount of space there is to bring it in. I had to settled for a smaller refrigerator. It does not have the same features like a drawer below the top shelf. It is small and I personally was much happier with the 18-cu ft Whirlpool refrigerator that I bought 35 years ago. Unfortunately, we had to lay it to rest. It would be great if Whirlpool would consider manufacturing refrigerators with the same dimensions as they did years ago so that people like me who live in homes with limited entry space could purchase what they really need and would like.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've had a service man in and need to call again as fridge freezes everything! I'm done everything he recommended and it continues to freeze all liquids and solids.
