Whirlpool WRT518SZFB 18 Cu. Ft. Black Top Freezer Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was purchased almost four months ago. So far it as performed as expected. It maintains consistent refrigerator and freezer temperatures except during defrost modes. We expect it to last at least 15 years so time will tell what our future opinion will be.

Lots of room in the freezer and main fridge area. I love the cheese tray. Simply the best fridge I've ever had. I definitely found what I was looking for. I highly recommend this fridge.

Love the sliding drawer under one of the shelves for small items. Plenty of shelving space and the layout is nice. Wish it had a light in the freezer but we knew it didn't when we bought it. Overall an excellent refrigerator!

Bought this to replace the failing refrigerator in our garage. The garage gets very hot on summer nights with two hot cars parked in there. This unit keeps everything nice and cold on the medium setting. Very well laid out, lots of door storage. Could not be happier.

I purchased this item appropriately, a month ago and I am very satisfied. I had an issue with condensation and the Company where I purchased it, sent a Technician out. Turns out that the door alignment was off and warm air was getting in causing the condensation. Now I am very happy and would recommend without hesitation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge based mostly on dimensions to fit into a small space. It delivers impressive capacity, it's very quiet and it looks pretty nice too. Finger-print resistant finish doesn't look different from other SS appliances in the kitchen and appears to indeed be pretty resistant. However, there are a couple of little things that are not the best: absence of a freezer light is a bit surprising (my 30-year old Maytag has it!). Sometimes, the door is stuck so hard that trying to open it moves the entire fridge. But the most "upsetting" part was the icemaker. At the time of purchase, a "native" kit was not available and it was impossible to figure out which of off-brand kits would fit. The one I bought did not have necessary parts, which were assumed to built into the fridge based on the specs, but they were not. I had to return it. Even the installation guys were not really sure on what's included. Very poorly described piece, and definitely nothing easy about it. If you need an icemaker, make sure to buy the actual Whirlpool kit (not a replacement kit) and have the installation crew put it in. I'm not going to put my husband through it;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love every thing about my new refrigerator except the fact it's very hard to keep it looking clean because every time you touch the out side it's leaves fingerprints even with clean hands and very hard to keep nice looking because when you clean one print you have to clean the whole door. The sides of the fridge are print free . The fridge came wrapped in plastic and when I removed the wrap there were prints under the wrap. The fridge is a nice size and quiet running and works good

The refrigerator is nice except when I went to move it it appears as though it was a damaged refrigerator on the bottom there is foam in an area coming out about the size of a fist. It is very noticeable I think it might have been broken and escaped out the bottom with this foam it makes me concerned that in the long run it might not work as good as it could. I reported it right away to the store. There was a dent by where the foam is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had two service techs from two different companies come out. They acknowledge the sound and noise, both say "It is by design!". Where in the sales literature does it say "Hey, buy our loud and noisy appliances because we know that's what you expect of it!" Called support and they actually tried to tell me having a howling and whistling unit, all day and all night, is the way it was design to function... really!? Whirlpool doesn't want to take responsibility as there is NO way to submit a formal refund request or send an escalation e-mail of any type to anyone.
