[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old Whirlpool unit with this one. Unfortunately, the handle doesn't match the companion freezer as it did in the past. Not sure if I will order a new freezer so they match again. My only complaint with the icebox is that those drawers are ridiculously small. I don't know why they couldn't give me one drawer that would go the width of the unit. These drawers don't hold much of anything. And having two setr of racks on the door of the icebox wasts a lot of material. Other than that, I am good with the new iebox.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My wife and I bought this fridge because of a height limitation due to the above fridge cabinets in our kitchen. It is spacious and bright. Seems to maintain its temperature well. The one concern I have is if the door handle will stay in place over the long term. It relies on set screws to hold it in place against some metal studs affixed to the door. So far, we both really like it. The adhesive protective plastic on the fridge for shipping is difficult to take off and goes under the seal of the door so it doesn't remove cleanly.

When the refrigerator was delivered, it had dents on one side and the back. Immediately, the delivery people contacted Walmart and reported the problem. The representative responded and asked about the problem. The refrigerator was connected to the electrical outlet, and it started working. We requested a discount for the dents on the side and back and an extended warranty. The rep has not responded yet. The door also makes some noise when opened and closed. The top hinge is slightly bent. So far, it is maintaining the temperature.

Junk after 4 years. Typically a fridge should have a 5 year sealed system warranty. For some reason this one doesn't? Correct me if I am Wrong whirlpool. It is not acceptable to send a fridge to landfill after 4 years. Last time I buy whirlpool. Trash.

We bought our first fridge in 2018 and it lasted 3 years and failed just outside of extended warranty. Since our kitchen cabinets were custom built for this set, we purchased another unit in 2021 along with the maximum extended warranty. A few weeks before the warranty expired, the fridge stopped cooling. Repairs were completed under warranty, but the fridge stopped cooling again in a few months. Warranty company will not stand behind the repairs and will not honour their work. Will now have to buy a third fridge in 8 years. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE!

I bought the 31-inch Wide SideKicks® All-Refrigerator with LED Lighting - 18 cu. ft. along with the freezer next to one another. 3 years into use and The Fridge has cooling issues. Will not recommend to anyone.

The problem I had was the delivery of the refrigerator. It was promised to be delivered two weeks after I had ordered it. No show and no call. I contacted Walmart and they weren’t any help. Contacted the delivery vendor and they couldn’t tell me if it was one or two weeks out. Only information I could get was it was in route to the distribution center. . I noticed on line that it arrived however they couldn’t get any update on delivery date for two additional days. What a joke. My tenant was without a refrigerator for almost a month. Would not buy anything from them again

I have the side kick fridge and freezer and it came in my home when I bought it . Whirlpool This is absolutely the WORST product I have ever dealt with. I am beyond frustrated and completely disappointed. I have gone through TWO of these freezers and THREE refrigerators, and I have had the evaporators repaired at least SIX times. That is completely unacceptable. These fridges are nothing but junk. I would NEVER recommend this brand to anyone, and I will never purchase another one again. And now, once again, my evaporator is out and I'm stuck dealing with yet another repair. This is ridiculous. No customer should have to go through this over and over again. Enough is enough.

I have to rate this One Star if I could go lower I would, I am on my second frig in 2 years. First frig purchased was 5/2022. Second frig1/2023. Same issue, stops cooling. This one I have now has been serviced multiply times and all components that can be replaced by a repair man has. He said its like a brand new now. Well final repair was done March 2025 and now temp inside refrigerator is at 50 degrees. Would not recommend this item to anyone, I would steer away from this purchase. It needs to be recalled.
