Read manual for custom operations
Must read the manual to program it on a personal level, with a little reading, i programmed it exactly as I wanted,

Buy it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Whistler 1010 analog scanner. Easy to use, and program, very portable and does what I need it to do....monitor the aviation channels (I am a pilot).

Trx1 - review
Need to have patience and little knowledge in programming this scanner. It can be done in 3 ways: usuing the zip code,however this loads everything in your area, 2. using ez programming software on a comp or doing it manually. I prefer manually myself. I have bout at least 10 scanners for my friends and I have never had a issue with any of them. I created a cheat sheet for the trx-1

Whistler TRX-1 Scanner
I like all was going to say dislike sound only because the volume on police and fired scan is a little low at the highest setting of 30...the weather at 30 is very loud. perfect size and love the two color choices for the rear of machine. I bought the remtronix antenna for better reception. Great scanner and looks good.

Great buy !
I'm finding that this scanner is very easy to use . I had to read and reread the manual a few times but, I'm getting the hang of it and discovering new frequencies , This scanner can do a lot of neat things . Well worth the money .

Whistler wxt-1
Paid extra for faster shipping. The scanner got here a day later then promised. The product was defective. Returned it to Walmart Store. Still have not received my refund of $507.00.
