White Carolina Pineberry Plants - 10 Roots -Bareroot-Pineapple/Strawberry Flavor - Grow Indoors or Out

I don't write many reviews, but I have to on these pine berries, I received these in awesome condition, I soaked them for a couple hours then planted them, and I will say, out of the 20 I purchased, ALL OF THEM ARE SPROUTING! And look very healthy. Will post if they produce this year.

I had just purchased a container of these unusual berries from Trader Joe, and decided I had to have them in my berry patch. The order arrived quickly, and the bate root plants were carefully packaged. As soon as they arrived, I opened the brown paper bag they were packaged in, and placed them in a large bowl of room-warm water over night on my counter to soak. This tends to perk them up. And, if your not familiar with bare root plants, they can look a little hopeless, but don't fret. You are looking for the one little sprout amounst brown dried up looking roots and runner stems. After soaking them, I planted them in a mix of compost and potting soil, with a sprinkle of time release miracle grow in, two large plastic eight-pack containers I had saved from last year. I would usually plant them directly into the ground, but it is early and I want to give these little plants a chance. So, I am keeping them in my bright window inside for a few weeks, just until they get going, and then I will plant them in their forever home. And, I had a little bonus, I ended up with twelve plants, instead of ten. I will be ordering again from this nursery.

Ten plants, packaged and arrived well. All ten are growing so far. It'll be a little bit before I know if I got what was advertised, but as of now all is looking good. If I can update the review later this year I'll add pictures of how the do.

Package can in timely manner and they were packed with great instructions. they have been planted and doing very well. cant wait to try the fruit they will produce

None of them survived. I ordered strawberries from another company the same time and got 20 bare root plants from them which all survived and actively growing so this is not human error.

They were very dried out. I planted them the day i received them and even with daily watering only 4 have sprouted out of 20.

Bare roots arrived dry and swiveled. I hydrated and planted they did not sprout, but eventually started to rot. Not a single plant sprouted, and I am an experienced gardener.

I have purchased this product twice. Near order has produced any green growth yet. I only purchased a second order because I really wanted to try them.

Arrived on life support, very dry and puny. Tried to save them in incubation and lots of attention but they never came back to life.
