pretty close to the real deal. if using an air fryer they do get a little dried out. we always add salt to them but the flavor is good on their own. the breading isn't overly thick. a bit of spice in the breading helps boost the already delicious flavors.
Six minutes in our air fryer these were perfect. they are not greasy. Breading is not overly done . Have a good flavor not a negative word . They are a great snack for kids or adults. Make sure you stock up for unexpected company. Also make sure you have plenty of dipping sauce. These would be perfect with some cheese sticks, poppers you name it good product.!
The chicken rings were delicious taste better fried than baked.. but either way you will love them.. they don't even stay in my freezer very long once I buy them. My boys love these soooo much even my picky eater who refuses to eat even Dino nuggets LOVES these chicken rings.
I didn't know if I was gonna like these….because I've tried other fries that's from a different restaurant….and they were NOTHING like that restaurants fries. So I was skeptical. But….I actually like these soooo much better than the actual ones from White Castle!!!! They're actually a bit thicker, better tasting and why would they have gristle in them!?! They're best when accompaniment with ketchup to me!!!! The chicken is very, very meaty too!!!!
The White Castle Original Chicken Rings are an absolute hidden gem in the frozen food aisle! If you love crispy, flavorful, easy‑to‑make chicken snacks, this 20oz bag will not disappoint. First off, the unique ring shape is more than just fun—it creates the perfect balance of crispy breading on the outside and tender, juicy chicken on the inside. They cook beautifully every time, whether you air‑fry, bake, or deep‑fry them. In the air fryer especially, they get that perfect golden crunch without tasting greasy. The flavor is exactly what you'd expect from White Castle: seasoned just right, savory, and seriously addictive. They make an awesome quick lunch, a great appetizer for parties, and the perfect snack for dipping. Ranch, BBQ, honey mustard—they pair well with everything. The 20oz bag gives you a generous amount, which makes them a great value. They're super convenient, cook fast, and taste like something you'd get right at a restaurant—only you can enjoy them at home in minutes. If you enjoy comfort food with great flavor and quality, the White Castle Original Chicken Rings are an easy five‑star choice. Highly recommended for families, snack lovers, or anyone who wants a quick, delicious bite!
Hit or miss, sometimes they come out great, sometimes not so much. When they come out well, they taste really good, I could eat a lot in one sitting. However, if they aren't cooked perfect, they end up dry and a bit hard, and it's not that pleasant. There is a very fine line when cooking these. I wish they were cheaper. I would buy them often, but the price is a little prohibiting. I feel like these bought from the other Walmart location I previously bought from were better than the current one, for some reason.
I loved white Castle chicken rings. the white castle sliders that Walmart sells are pretty good so I thought the chicken rings would be good too, however they don't taste even remotely similar to white Castle! yeah they are okay,.. but at like 10$ a bag and it only 20 ounces... nah! it's edible and I'm sure if you add extra seasoning it would be better or deep fried them maybe it could help. again not the worst, but absolutely NOT the same as the real white Castle chicken rings
Quality has gone downhill, last 3 bags the rings have dark hard breading on them ,nothing like they used to be , some rings are multi colored for some odd reason , not understanding what's happening with these they used to be our favorite, not anymore, WHERE IS QUALITY CONTROL !!???
When craving White Castle and there isn't one near, frozen is the next best thing. These “chicken” rings are not the next after that. These are one of those things that one tries and thinks, “well now what are we supposed to eat” Save your money for something else.
there were little hairs inside my nuggets it was absolutely disgusting. I literally almost threw up.. I was really looking forward to these but they were a major disappointment. there were also small white pieces in there that were not supposed to be there. possibly plastic wrap or something
