I am disabled , these are like Krystal burgers, really good , so easy to fix, I add mustard , mayonnaise, I don't use them for snacks , but for meals, mostly for supper, a few fries ( air fried) applesauce is my supper tonight. These are really good.
I'm a home bound Senior, started getting these White Castles about a year ago through Walmart's home delivery. They hit the spot when you want a simple burger that doesn't break the bank. I get them every week now. Brings back memories of when I was a kid.
I always kept the White Castle cheeseburgers on hand in the freezer. But my boyfriend is lactose intolerant so I started getting the hamburgers so he can enjoy some too. It's handy having them on hand when you need them, and you don't have to run out to the restaurant to get them.
Love theses. They TASTE very good. Nothing like picking a few up at the drive through. I eat like 6 every 2 months. I would eat them every day if I lived back in Chicago. But these are delicious. You need to add your own pickle because i cant imagine a White Castle without that little pickle. Or any pickle.
So, I've never tasted these burgers before. At the risk of never being able to taste them again, because I may not be able to find and order them again. You see, these little guys are Amazingly Good!! And if you've never had them, get ready to welcome them into your snacking routine! Now, I bought the six pack to start. You know, in case I did take to them. Now, I wished I'd bought a larger size. Ordering more now! Fingers crossed they won't be out already. Wait a minute. I should be okay. I haven't submitted my review yet. You should try these. They are delicious!
It's not the most outstanding hamburger. You could have, but it's quick and tastes good enough for me. I have so far only cooked it in the microwave and it might taste better if I did it a different way. Stil it's a handy thing to have in the refrigerator for a quick snack.
When you can't get to a White Castle, to get White Castles, this is quite literally the next best thing. A little mustard and ketchup and they will satisfy your craving, but you may need four or five of them. But then you would, if you went to the restaurant too.😀
These are delicious as a snack or a meal. I give it 4 stars only because I wish it was lower in sodium. I'm a diabetic. I do add a little mustard , ketchup or relish. Depends what I feel l like doing each time Only 30 seconds in microwave than flip for another 30 seconds and enjoy.
These are quick and easy to make, the taste is good, and they are somewhat filling, I like the cheese burger version better, but the wife likes these. Sometimes I add a bit of bacon to plus it up a bit. If I make these for myself I add different types of cheese like Swiss or gouda, even a bit of pepper jack. Add some chips for a quick meal or snack.
If you're looking for the 'White Castle' experience, you'll be disappointed. No matter how you prepare them, the bun is always tough. Unlike a fresh White Castle where the bun is soft because its steamed. Hardly any onions, if any. Since freezing and thawing pickles makes them mushy, they're not included so you'll have to add your own.
