My husband uses these to work on all our engines and bicycles. They don't let the oils and grease soak through so he doesn't have to worry about getting his hands dirty. They are also supper easy to take off if he needs to. They have been wonderful for our household.

I am so pleased with these work gloves. I thought because they are so thin in material, that they wouldn't help with outdoor work. Boy was I wrong. I have used them in gardening, working on tractor and all around outdoor work. They are perfect. You don't feel like the normal outdoor gloves, bulky. They fit perfect. I'm not getting dirt in my fingernails. So nice.

These gloves are quite handy. My husband keeps a pair on his motorcycle to keep those digits clean whenever roadside tuning is needed. We also keep a pair in our tool bags. They fit great and snug since they are of stretchy material. The grip on the palm and fingers helps when using tools and grabbing nuts on oily and greasy jobs. I've even used these when working in the garden to pull out stubborn weeds and to keep hands clean when spading. Hands down a great pair of gloves.

I bought these for my daughter for when she works on her new home. She said they fit well and she has no worries about things looking thru while she destructs inside or works with the yard. Their versatile and very strong. If anyone buys a home again, I will be buying these for their work.

I really like these White Lightning work gloves, they are very lightweight but sturdy enough to get the job done. They have a very comfortable fit and the texture on the palm and fingers makes for excellent gripping of tools or parts for any repair job or any work where you need to be hands on. They slip on very easily unlike some gloves of similar construction and are very comfortable to wear, not bulky or loose like the thick leather work gloves. I used these while shoveling compost and they protected my hands from blisters and calluses. They also kept my hands clean. I also used them while using my wheelbarrow and along with protecting my hands they also provided the excellent grip I needed to haul the heavy load to the back yard. I'm not sure if they will last long under everyday use but for someone who needs a glove that's comfortable and not bulky then you will like the White Lightning work gloves for bike, auto, home. A great all around lightweight work gloves.

We go through work gloves fast in my house. Either from losing them or buying work gloves that crack in the wash or get holes quickly. My son needed some good work gloves for a volunteer project he was working on and I gave him these. They are light-weight and breathable for hot days working long hours outside. They fit his hands perfectly but are a little too large for my smaller female hands. The black color with blue trim was given the thumbs up from my son and he didn't bulk at the style of the logo. The logo is printed lightly on the top of the gloves and says White Lightening with a lighting bolt underneath. The palm side is more plastic but done really well so as to not crack and peel when washed. His volunteer project was pulling invasive species so I washed these well when he got home worried he could easily have touched poison ivy. The quality is the best I have had in work gloves so far. We have used these for yard work numerous times now and not a single rip, hole or crack. I would highly recommend these as an overall work glove which are definitely good for heavy duty yard work.

These gloves are on the thinner side and are ideal for doing light-duty work around the house and yard. I have small hands and these fit pretty well. I think if you have large hands, might need to go for the larger sizes if available. The coated palms and finger surface makes the gloves well suited to perform any task that requires some traction. These are not waterproof so you'd want to stay away from wet surfaces and objects.

You still have a pretty good feel for what you're handling, but you have a layer of protection. I must admit, the textured surface provides a grip better than your naked hand and overall, these gloves are quite comfortable. Pretty good pair of gloves for yardwork, material handling and general use. At 60, my skin scrapes and bleeds so easily, these are a must!

These gloves are ok for small projects but I won't be using them for heavy duty work loads or anything like gardening which they aren't for that anyway, just saying they are thin. I am looking for an all purpose glove and honestly I haven't found it in these.

I recently received the White Lightning Protective Work Gloves. They claim a universal fit, but they were too big on my hands for doing small tasks. They were fine for protecting my hands and preventing slipping when shoveling and using other yard tools. I liked that they were lightweight and didn't make my hands hot and sweaty. They are comparable to some gloves that I picked up at the dollar store so are about 3 times the cost. I doubt they will become my preferred work glove, but as a quick grab option to get something done, they work.
