First you should have a rubber mallet. The tubes are frustrating to seat properly by hand alone, the mallet makes it fast and easy without causing any damage. Second you should know that the shelves are like an army stretcher or army cot. They're perfect for shoes, but they sag for all other items. I cut some panels from masonite (thin mdf board from the hardware store) and placed them on each shelf to hold models. The whole thing sags with heavy weight, but you can screw wood braces pretty much anywhere to make it sturdy. I also put casters on mine so I could roll them. I made a 1"x2" piece as long as the long side, and then drilled a 5/8" hole where the bottom would go and it fit perfect. Then I screwed on some casters from the hardware store and I now have a couple nice narrow craft carts. Pay special attention to the orientation of the connecting pieces - they only work one way, but they fit a bunch of ways that are wrong. Put the long tubes through the shelf sheets first. Then put the connectors on the end pieces and then connect the end pieces to the shelf. It will look like an army cot. Next place the vertical pieces where they go and start adding the shelves you made earlier. That's it. DO get a rubber mallet to tap the peices together and it will be much easier. You could use these shelving systems for a lot of other projects because you get lots of pipes and connecting pieces for a very low price.
I love this shoe rack it saves me so much space. It's light weight and convenient. Fits so many shoes. It's perfect and great price.
I like the shelf , metal helps it a bunch to be stable
it eas way smaller tha wgat it looked like in the pucture and details
Garbage. After assembling and putting my sneakers on it, within a month the plastic bottom bent out of shape on both left and right side.
Very flimsy . Should not be more than $5
very cheaply made would not recommend
