Whitmor Bamboo Laundry Hamper with Rope Handles

I was getting this to match a larger bamboo hamper. It is sturdy and comes with a liner. I didn't realize the top isn't attached but it is still nice with a handle. This is a smaller hamper. So it would be good for someplace that doesn't have a lot of open space. The price difference between the larger one and the smaller one isn't that much, just for a money reference point.

This hamper looks really nice and fits perfectly in my space. The bamboo design is sturdy, the liner is good quality, and the rope handles are a nice touch. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. The only downside was the wire rod that goes inside, it was very difficult to insert, and I actually hurt my finger while trying to get it in place. Once assembled it's fine, but that part of the setup could definitely be improved or better explained. Aside from that, it's a great hamper and I would still recommend it.

Assembly was fairly easy; the top ring was the hardest part. The lid isn't affixed to the basket %26 doesn't fit down in, but my hubby can be a rather creative handyman. These look beautiful and aren't misshapen (by use) like their collapsible/fabric counterparts. Worth the money! I would recommend

Lid is very lightweight and slides off easily, but I just leave it off. I did have to exchange due to a flaw/chip in the wood, but it looks great.

Absolutely terrible quality. The bottom is just a piece of cardboard that sits on four brackets. There is nothing substantial to support the bottom. The sides are all one piece which is fine. It's just flimsy. It will easily break. The bottom piece was already broken when I opened the package.. It cannot hold any substantial weight of clothing. The lid is just decorative. The whole thing is essentially decorative. Not functional as a laundry hamper at all unless your clothes are tissue paper. Even then it's probably going to break during assembly. Yeah. You have to assemble it also. The handles are stronger than the basket. It's not worth the price at all. It's so flimsy it might as well be disposable. The shipping box it came in is a better hamper than this thing.
