Whole Macadamia Nuts, 1 Pound - Kosher, Raw, Vegan - by Food to Live

I am basing my review on roasted macadamia nuts. I purchased them raw and roast them myself. That way I can put on the amount of salt that I need. The nuts were packaged in a box, arrived in good stated time. The quality of them was good..

Macadamia nuts are pricey but worth it when used sparingly. These nuts were well packaged and nice and crunchy. Just what I was needing to top some Christmas gift projects. Pleased!

Overall taste was great and the price was great as well

Always tastes very fresh. I roast them at 350° for 8 minutes (allow them to cool), and they taste great! Unfortunately the price keeps increasing.

Product didn't taste fresh, but were edible.

Nuts are very small, almost tasteless, some were tough. These nuts are not from Hawaii and don't look or taste like Macadamia nuts from Hawaii.

The only good thing is that these nuts (Whole Macadamia Nuts, product of Malawi) are large. Everything else is very bad. The taste is terrible, smelling rotten. Before this, I was buying roasted nuts (Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts) from the same company (Food to Live) and also nuts from South Africa. Those nuts were delicious and I wanted to eat more, but the Whole Macadamia Nuts just make me want to throw them in the trash as soon as possible. I just lost money at Walmart. The photo for comparison shows from left to right the nuts from South Africa, the roasted nuts, and the new ones - whole macadamia nuts (rotten).

The nuts I recieved wete soft and when I roasted them they got softer. on top of that after trying them twice I got really sick both times and subsequently threw them out. Apparently they were spoiled.

Unfortunately Nuts or stale.
