Whoppers Malted Milk Balls Candy, Carton 12 oz

Excellent product I will buy it again yes, I would recommend this product however it's very frustrating to me and aggravating that when you get a box it's only about 2/3 full and that once again is just such a ridiculous way to try to trick customers and buying something and then it's even more disappointing when it's not even close to a full box but you charge more so I don't think I'm gonna buy them anymore. I bought them my whole life. I'm 72 years old, but this is just absolutely ridiculous. It's an insult.

I love these! I crave them sometimes, actually, because of their delicious flavor and their texture. My favorite way of eating them is allowing the chocolate to slowly melt until reaching the malted milk filling and then allowing it to dissolve, crunching it with my teeth, or using my tongue to break it apart against my palate. Occasionally, there will be one that has a chewy consistency, and more rarely there will be one that has less malted milk inside and it’ll just collapse. Both are great for people who love these for their texture. To explain my ratings: Overall, I gave them five stars simply because I love them. I gave them four stars for value because their price has recently increased without a proportional increase in product amount (for a 12oz carton, between 9/14/2025 [$2.57 ea] to 9/23/2025 [$3.54 ea] they increased in price by 97¢ ea). I gave them only three stars for being a “good snack.” While they are a favorite candy of mine, and I probably eat them too often, I can’t call them a good snack as they are processed sugar, oil, cocoa, and milk. Of course, that turns on your definition of “good” and what you consider a snack.

Whoppers are just as good as I remembered. They're the perfect size for snacking and they're very fresh-tasting. You can crunch right into each piece, or allow it to melt in your mouth. The milk-carton package is very convenient for keeping the candy fresh.

All of us who enjoy malted milk balls really need at least the 12oz carton. Thank you for stocking this size and making it available at this price point. Your delivery charge was less expensive than the time and gas that I would have used trying to find them at local stores who only stock the small, more expensive boxes if they stock them at all. Thank you Walmart!

When I was a kid, my parents had these in the top of their closet with the Ovaltine and the Lemon Drop cookies. They kept them in the closet because we children were not allowed to have any. My mother said they were too expensive for kids. I am a grown adult. I keep all 3 in the pantry to have and time I WANT!!!!!!!! I love whopper. PS grind whoppers and put it on your ice-cream. SOO GOOD

I really like malted milk ball but sometimes they are too hard. I don’t know if they are being stored in the correct temperature. I do know that when I buy them from a different grocery store chain they are almost always better.

Like everything else, the price continues to increase. I am old enough to remember when the actual balls were much larger in size. Back then, the name was descriptive. That is not on Walmart. That is the manufacturer. I am glad to know that I can find them at Walmart at a nice price.

Like these for a little treat. Normally order as a regular item. I haven't ordered recently because price jumped to a crazy amount when placing an order. The next day I noticed it had come way down but was still increased by about 50% higher price. You need to watch online pricing especially if it is a regular item you normally order. Could pay an extreme price for something without realizing it.

wow, it's been decades since I've bought Whoppers and now I have no reason to again. over half the Box were micro Whoppers that were hard like Jawbreakers, not much more than a 12 or 14 mm across, compared to the regular size ones which seem to be generally in the 20 to 25 mm range, and have the normal expected crunch. just about broke teeth on the small ones so if I can only eat half of them, that makes them twice the price and that's not worth it. also had a clump of three Whoppers lumped together. what's happened to Quality Control I mean really?

This review is about the seller, not the product itself. Two boxes arrived days after what the seller originally stated. Both boxes were together in a plastic bag, and both boxes were smashed during shipping. And because they were delayed in transit, they were probably subjected to heat and within the boxes the chocolate had melted to a gooey mess.
