Whoppers Robin Eggs: Malted milk balls 😋 are one reason for your taste buds to live!!! I know that sounds stupid, but I really enjoy malted milk balls!!!
I wish Hershey sold these year round and not just for Easter time. This is truly a treat and I look forward to Easter just so I can eat Robin Eggs. This bag was real fresh. The outer shell just break into small candy and the malt melt in your mouth with the chocolate. Yum
These were so hard to find last year in fact I couldn't find them except for the mini robin eggs, and they just didn't taste the same. At one point Walmart had them for delivery at $14.95 a bag. Needless to say I didn't order them. This time when I looked, they were $4.95 a bag so I got four. Five bucks for a bag of candy is a little bit too much but they only come out once a year. .
I did a review on the mini-Robin eggs, and to just summarize, these that come in this packaging are way better, cause there bigger, plus, I guess because they come in a sealed packaging, they stay fresher. Well, what can I say, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I love um. Just try them. Trust me, you'll love them to. Hope this helps, happy easter, and thanks for your time.
As Easter eggs start replacing the Valentine's Day hearts, I keep a close eye out for the Whoppers Robin Eggs malted milk ball Easter eggs to appear. They've been my can't-miss Easter treat for decades now. They make such a brief appearance that I immediately stock up. Everything about them is perfection from the crunchy outer shell, to the creamy delicious chocolate layer, to the perfect crispy malted milk egg inside. Not a dud in three large packages so far!
These are good. Probably too good. I have always loved Malted milk ball but with these having the candy coating on the outside made them that much better. But eat these in moderation because it is too easy to grab a handul and before you know it they are gone.
This is the kind of Easter candy you open thinking you'll have a few… and then suddenly you're digging to the center of the bag like it owes you money. Same classic Whoppers crunch, but somehow better in egg form. The big bag makes it feel like a responsible purchase, which is a bold lie. Perfect for Easter baskets, candy bowls, or parking yourself near the table and pretending you're just ‘sampling.' Five stars for being festive, crunchy, and completely unapologetic about disappearing fast
Aww, very sad. My old teeth can't just bite down on these anymore. A staple at Easter since they came out, those bright candy shells over Whoppers, are just too hard now. It still tastes great, but having to hold them in your mouth, takes out the sheer joy of "eating a memory". My son had to have them for the Grandbabies, because it was a memory for him, and is part of our Basket Necessities! Those brightly colored, Egg Shaped beauties, make their eyes light up, and happy faces as consumed. Bought the Big Bag, because " Big Kids", (Adults), love them too! And foolishly I thought it would last longer, not! Gone in less than a week, but I got extra Grandbaby visits because they were irresistable.
They're very pretty and a nice size, however, the hard shell is way too hard %26 hurts your mouth. There's not enough malted milk ball and chocolate. I really wanted to love these little robin eggs.
Ordered (2) 13 oz. bags, received (2) 9 oz. bags. Also, they were shipped from California to Pittsburgh, and I could see signs where some of them lost their shape due to temperature changes. I would not recommend having this item shipped. Buy them at the brick %26 mortar stores only.
