Whynter ICM-15LS Stainless Steel Ice Cream Maker

This ice cream maker is so easy to use. Easy recipes then into the ice cream maker. Only takes an hour to freeze. Bought this for my daughter for her birthday and this is something she will have forever. I would absolutely recommend it.

Bought this unit at end of summer. A lot has to do with having the right recipe and we found it. After that it is just all kinds of ice creams all of the time . So hard to find wonderful fruit flavors of ice cream in the supermarket. We make them at home now. Sooooo good.

We bought this about a month ago and it changed our life! I love that there are some recipes included in the user manual. The texture is absolutely perfect and scoopable. It's perfect capacity for our small nuclear family, although it can support more volume as well. Overall, super happy with the purchase. Off to make some musk melon sorbet now!

easy to use and made the smoothest tasteine ice cream ever in 40 minutes

This item was purchased as an early Christmas present for my son in CA. He said it makes really really good ice cream in 40 minutes and is so easy. Now he plans to make ice cream as presents for his friends!

I am almost an ice cream addict. lol I was using the type of ice cream maker that had to have the bucket frozen for 24 hours before use. With this one I just pour in the mixture, turn it on and about 40 minutes later it is done. It will be very soft and thin, but after freezing, it is perfect. Easy to clean, too. Just make sure to pull out the mixing blade before freezing if you leave the mixture in the machine after mixing.

Make sure not to fill over 60% capacity for the 11/2 qt container. It will swell as it freezes and make a mess. Overall makes good ice cream with its built in compressor/freezer that requires no ice or pre cooling. It is a rather messy process with this machine. The freezer mixer/paddle is hard to remove and even harder to clean. The mixer/paddle turns during freezing process and then stops when the mixture is frozen but the compressor keeps on freezing and then the 11/2 pale cannot be removed. Have to allow thawing time for removal. Takes some getting used to. The timer will stop everything at the end of the time periods you choose. 20,40,60 minutes. Ours seems to work best at the 40 minute mark. Also there is no recipes, tips or anything that comes with the machine......just a website and setup instructions.

This ice cream maker sure makes fine batches of home made ice cream. Our family has been enjoying ice cream near everyday since we bought the machine. Easy and fun to use. Easy cleaning. The ice cream is very near store-bought quality.

This is very heavy. I cannot pick it up. So, I cannot give an honest review.

It is easily operated. And works just like it says. I've only used it 3 times so far. But am pleased.
