I bought this a c to replace an off brand a c that I bought online.And this is night and day, I actually can get cold at night. it cools the room from eighty degrees to sixty five degrees within an hour, which was impossible with my other unit. and its pretty quiet

Easy to install cools the room in a short period of time.

I have a raised ranch. I keep this in my smallest bedroom, my office, facing out into the hallway. It cools that whole side of the house. I have another larger Wynther model in my dining room facing the kitchen and it cools that whole half of the house too. I chose Wynther cause it doesn't have to be drained all the time when using it on air. It does a very good job and it is a nice size nd color.

Great, so far, in every way. Price is a bit on the high side, but hopefully offset by quality...time will tell.

Did a lot of research before hand and found that I should buy it from Walmart. It does everything I need it to do and it fits my room layout. I was worried about leaks like other air conditioners but this one seems fine so far.

I use this in vermont for the 600SF living area, third floor of a 4 floor building, unit works fine, its not too loud, but does not seam to have to cooling power of a 1200BTU window unit, go 14000BTU and this dual hose is key. Crazy how the single hose units suck out the cool air while pulling hot air from the outside in.

I like Whynter products in general but feel ripped off with this model. 1. No adjustable air vents 2. Air vents do not electronically close or move 3. The timer is hard to use 4. In general, the digital display is not user friendly This machine really sucks

Perhaps not the kind of item to have shipped as I do not if the problems I'm experiencing are due to manufacturing or damage in shipping. The crate was well formed and still in tact upon arrival so I am leaning towards manufacturing issues . The unit is large and looks very nice is easy enough to set up quiet to operate and cools fairly well. My problem with the unit is excessive condensation. Water builds up on the top of the unit and has to be wiped away frequently. It is a lot of water and this condensation is in addition to an excessive amount of draw condensation also. The set up process explains the possible need to run a hose from drain to relieve water build up but it also is an awful lot of water involved. I first ran a hose into a 5gal bucket but it would fill up in only 2-3 hrs of operation. We live in a low humidity area and this does not seem normal to me. I am waiting to hear back from customer service but my intention is to return the item and I would not recommend this AC
