I have been using this product for years. Love it! The fact it does not contain any sugar or tomato means it will not burn. Instead it imparts great flavor. I use it for ribs but it also makes great chicken. Marinade the chicken in Wickers for a few hours or overnight and then grill them as usual. It gives great flavor and is not more fattening than plain chicken. Good stuff!
I prefer the vinegar taste over barbecue sauce taste! I used to buy this in store at Walmart and my whole family loved it marinated ribs!! It would be nice to be able to purchase in store again!
Wickers has always been top of the line. But shipping with walmart is awesome. Beats big A with overnight delivery. More walmart now.
It's a baste, not a sauce... great flavor. Have not found anything to compare with Wicker's! Surprised it hasn't been copied.
The best marinade for chicken (especially when grilling) you can buy. I use it on my vegetables as well.
Great on ribs and chicken...
Wickers marinade is a wonderful product, and I have been using it for 3 decades. It's perfect for chicken, beef, pork. I used to buy it at Kroger , but there are no Kroger's nearby. I'm happy to be able to order online with Walmart.
I grew up on Wickers in Southern Missouri, and can still remember going to their restaurant in Hornersville at a very young age. Being able to enjoy that flavor in my own cooking now that I live hundreds of miles away is wonderful.
I have used this sauce for decades. I have special recipe that uses this sauce. It won a chmpmpionsgip contest in Memphis in May one year.
I made a huge mistake when I ordered Wicker's from Wal Mart. If you have not tried this marinate and baste, you should. My father was from Hornersville, MO. It will take your baked beans to the next level. Dad made the best barbeque chicken ever. There are recipes on their website.
