Wickles Spicy Red Sandwich Spread is the best thing I've ever put on a sandwich!!! If you like Jersey Mike's pepper relish, this is the closest (maybe even better!) store-bought option. I want to put it on everything now. My only complaint is I wish more Walmart stores carried it!
I bought this because their dill pickles are amazing! I thought I would give the sandwich spread a try. I absolutely love it! I bought it for myself, but my husband is now addicted to it! I can't even tell you how many jars we have bought. I think I might start buying them in bulk lol😂. It is spicy, however very well balanced. Also try it on other things besides a sandwich. This might sound strange, but it's very good in cottage cheese. Also excellent on chicken. We love it! Definitely give it a try. 💕😊
Great flavor on your sandwich giving it a slight kick of spicy / vinegary taste. Great to use in cooking, I put some in my brown beans and they were great.
Great product. Adds a bit of heat to a boring sandwich but the red peppers are also a little sweet. Can be hard to find in grocery stores so order multiples. You don't want to run out!
It is delicious!!! I didn't use it as a sandwich spread. I used it for a dip with chips. It has a wonderful spicy taste. Better than any salsa I've ever eaten. I have two extra jars in the cupboard, so I won't run out.
I love this stuff! Honestly, I could eat spoonfuls out the jar, but I control myself, LOL! Try it on any sandwich, sub or chicken parm are yummy, in potato or pasta salad, anything which needs a little kick. It's perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and not too spicy. A great condiment. Hopefully Walmart will carry it forever!
This sandwich bread spread is so good. It's something you will use on everything. I need to stock up
This, ladies %26 gentlemen, is some good eats. Yes, it is. Imma tell you what now. Right now. Quite cautiously, I tasted a wee dollop of the visually challenging contents of the previous jar, then gradually tried it with a variety of culinary applications. Most of those were decidedly decent. I mean to tell you now. I then explored the label more thoroughly to decipher if this was another jumping Jack Flash in the pan tease mislabeled "test marketing". Folks, I be liking this concoction. That's right. More than that, I strongly advise taking a jar to the house to taste in the confines of your dwelling. This immediately elevated a batch of pickled eggs from not-quite-there to whiz-bang status. I kid you not. The next big test was exceptionally successful in my mouth. Listen what I say now, Ray. Pull up your pants, straighten that hat, %26 chew with your mouth shut. This is MY house %26 you will abide by my rules, Jules. You copy that? Well. That amazingly well received test was a six big jar batch of pickeled onion, %26 Imma tell you what now. It is flat-out over any top previously thought to be the top. That's right. What began as test flight of the already great pickled red onion recipe from Jose.elCook rapidly lept to culinary excellence. Instead of a special purchase of several red onions merely to test his recipe, I used the many Vidalia onions given me by a neighbor. They're not as visually striking, but far better in the mouth. That was the exception, until I saw the improvements that could result from adding this jalapeño relish ("spicy red spread"). That is it, folks. No more surprize changes. Recipe from Jose, plus this relish. The almost full last jar is my test unit. At only two (2) days, this is fabulous. Period. No mas. Get your shoes on, get in the car. We goin to the WalMart. Got to have some of that Wickle's Red Spread Jalapeño Relish. Better buy two, Lou. I'm tellin ya.
Really good and not sweet. I hate sweet relishes, so this hits the spot. It reminds me of Cousin Subs' hot pepper relish, which is my favorite. .... Not soupy like the other reviewer advised. It is not a paste or super thick, but it certainly is not soupy.
I'm glad I tried this red relish I put it on all my sandwiches and hot dogs now it's really good thanks
