They work
These work very well to keep the window from going up or down, depending on where you place it. They are made for narrow metal window edges. Not anything thicker.

These babies are low profile so they are harder to access from outside.

They are small
The window locks itself is good but they are small. It barely fit my window. Once I was able to get them on, it was ok. It would've been better if they came bigger. Next time, I will go into a big box store and look for larger size.
