WIFFLE 9 In. Plastic Wiffle Ball (White)

Thisball is a hit for my 4 year old grandson. He loves to play baseball. The ball is a perfect fit for his small hand. He loves throwing catching and loves hitting with his wide bat also purchased at Walmart!!!

Perfect, basic ball for any age group.

I have been with a group of a dozen guys or so that play wiffle ball as soon as the weather allows. I joined them about 5 years ago but they have been playing much longer. One of them converted his backyard into a field with a home run fence, baselines, dug outs, the whole nine yards. Those are my 'credentials' for what I'm about to say. I have tried at least three other brands of plastic perforated balls since I've been playing. If you plan on hitting with more than the strength of an 8 year old, this is the only ball that works. All plastic balls like this are made of two half sections that are glued together. All the other types that we have tried split in half within 10-15 minutes of use. That being the longest any have lasted. One brand even split open on the first swing. I don't know what incredible top secret mixture of glue and heat treatment goes into a wiffle ball but they just don't split like the others. Don't get me wrong, you will wear it out eventually, but it will be after months of use and it won't split open. It'll just be so deformed and mangled from the abuse of being struck that you won't be able to throw it anymore and you'll spend the $2 for a replacement. I go out of my way to find true wiffle balls.

This was a Real wiffle ball set, not those other plastic sets that break after you hit the ball a couple of times. Great service in a timely manner,

Bought this for when my grandsons come to visit.

I purchased 8 indiv. packaged wiffle balls and walmart unpacked all of them and put them into a clear plastic bag- I called to log a complaint about the packing- dont unpack my items from the original box for me.

The 3 balls are fine; they're all the same size which is a bit deceptive in the ad. The bat is very thin--thinner than a softball bat. However, for the price, they're fine. To do it again, I'd pay more and get a fat bat like they have in the store.

$4 for one waffle ball is way overpriced!!! Even Dicks Sporting store price was $2 each. Never will I buy this from Walmart again.
