WILD BADGER POWER Weed Eater 31cc 17" Gas String Trimmer/Edger 4 Cycle with Brush Cutter

We needed to replace our weed-eater, and this was the best one- and the best deal- we could find, based on reviews, for the type we wanted (gas-powered). We have high weeds and brush, and needed something pretty powerful. My husband put it together, and it works fine.

It came in a box that looked like it was already opened then taped back up. It started up the first time for about five minutes. Then the second time ran for about ten then died out. The third time it ran for about 5 minutes when i squeezed the throttle it died out. couldn't restart it again. Would not recommend this product. Now Im trying to return it and having a problem.Stalls out

The engine won't even start... In fact it's already seized before ever getting to try it out. So other than that annoyance after spending 20 minutes putting it together plus the fact that I now need to spend 20 taking it apart and 1 hour returning it, the engine looks like they put it together in 5 minutes max. They didn't trim the gasket material on the carb(I assume why it's not starting), the rtv the sealed the head with is all over the place, the instructions are horrid(good luck if you don't already know what to do), the customer service number told me they don't have tech support and hardly knew English.. Steer clear.

Bought a RYOBI from Home Depot last year. It locked up this year. FRIED! Had to replace it, don't want to mix fuel so I got a gas one again. It works great, the RYOBI attachments work with it, but it took some minor alterations to get them to connect. It starts up fine most every time.

This string trimmer is not too heavy, is easy to manipulate, and was very simple to assemble. It has a good powerful motor and cuts heavy weeds very quickly.I would recommend this product to my friends, it is a nice running trimmer.

I wish I had bought this trimmer decades ago! By far the easiest cranking and smoothest running ! have ever owned, and I've owned dozens in my 78 years! It's a bit heavy, but I purchased separate wheels that eases this condition somewhat.

This is a Great machine and a very good value to boot. Starts very easy, one quick little pull. I am a mature adult and am so happy this powerful machine is so easy for me to use. Thank You Badger!!!

It is a little heavier than a 2 cycle but not having to mix is nice. Cut through some pretty tall and thick weeds. Definitely worth the price

Ideal for trimming various areas of the home. Probably not ideal for heavy-duty trimming, such as when dealing with thicker vegetation or weeds. For those tasks, I will utilize my gas-powered vegetation wacker. However, this is strongly advised for routine yard pruning. It is both lightweight and extremely powerful.
