Wild Caught Patagonian Scallops, 80-120 Pieces (1lb Plastic Tray)

I really like these. The fact that they're small allows me to use them in multiple ways. They're perfect in a casserole. They're perfect in a stew, wrap, salad, or soup. You could even use it in a seafood sauce for your pasta. Keep in mind they won't have that luscious slave that large ocean scallops have. I like the fact that I can do a lot of things with them and still have that slight scallop taste.

I used these scallops in place of clams for some New England Clam chowder. They were excellent. The scallops are dry, not drenching in water like most frozen scallops. They smelled fine, not fishy or off putting odors. They really upped my chowder to the next level and are just the right size for a scallop in a spoonful of chowder. The price is nice too. I will be buying them again soon!

Walmart is not usually this physical store that I go to because of the crowd so I do a lot of online shopping. The thing is with Walmart. I can always depend on what they say they have and what they say It is, so the consistency with Walmart if you're doing online shopping to me is totally worth it. I say if you had to pick a store where you get exactly what you're asking for Walmart guaranteed every time and the prices are going to be the best prices so I give it five stars.

These Scallops are absolutely the best you can buy. The flavor is exquisite. The texture is great. The are firm and sweet the way a scallop has to be flavored and textured. Every scallop I have bought over many years has either no flavor or is bitter. The texture is has also been soft. These are not big but that doesn't matter to me in the least. Just put them in a convection oven on 375 for 12 minutes and they are wonderful. I cooked 3;4 pound at once and they were fine.

A new and welcome member of my Tiny Mighty Club! They are bursting with flavor and I truly had to pace myself after bracing myself over the rich, unctuous, tender gems.

First time trying. So glad I did. Juicy, tender and they do not have that 'chemical' taste as the other small scallops. I used them in a Green Thai Curry sauce with rice dish. Yum!

I cook with shrimp in garlic and butter, and the only problem I have is I wish there were bigger containers of these. Always good and so easy to fix. I keep 2 or 3 packs in my freezer all the time, great last minute meal.

Oh so good! Wonderful texture and taste. I put them in dashi seaweed soup with a few shrimp; diakon slices and spring onions even an egg sometimes. Wonderful!

Excellent scallops. Flavorful. I just wish that when you order for pick up, that they would not give you products expiring the same day or next because you may not be preparing it right away. If I physically go in-store I would never pick items expiring.

I would recommend it except I truly wish the shoppers would check the expiration dates on the products because this was expired but it's okay Walmart customer service was excellent and made up for it and it's not their fault it's just they're trying to fill the thing fast because I try to get it here within an hour so it's really not their fault it's my fault but she did great because she helped me get a discount and they were very nice to me and so was she she did excellent she was here on time thank you so much God bless
