Great for Parakeet Stress
This is a great mix of nutritious seeds; some, of which, are lacking in regular blends. The keets get stressed during molting and become lethargic with loss of appetite; which only makes matters worse. I saw an immediate change in their disposition after tasting this mix. It's a little pricey but you only need to sprinkle some on their fruits and other seed.

They sent the wrong number of items to me. But I contacted customer service. And it was corrected immediately. And the rest of my order was sent to me the same day. Very impressed. Good company to order from. Very friendly and helpful customer service representatives..

My senior male cockatiel named Pewter (23 years old) thinks this molting seed is his dessert !!! It has been a small part of his diet for years and years.

My Amazon loves this seed as a compliment to his diet. It has become great help to encourage him not to pluck. I guess it's giving him something his body needs.

Great for molting or recovering
95% of the time, this if filled with everything they need to help with their health. The other 5%, there is too much dried powder. Still worth it to see the benefits of this product. Brightly colored feathers and quicker recovery

THERE SEEMS TO BE TOO MUCH SANDY PARTICLES IN THE PACKAGES RECENTLY AND LESS SEEDS. IT ALL SETTLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTIANER THUS ADDING TO THE WEIGHT...AND "LESS HEALTHY" SEEDS. (DECEPTIVE)......

Smell of licorice is awful!
I can't say if my bird likes it because I haven't been able to feed it to her. When you open it, it has an extremely strong smell of licorice. OMGosh! I'm sensitive to smells and I got an instant headache...a very bad one. I may sound silly but even if I'm not sensitive it is still extremely strong. They say birds are attracted to the smell but mine will never know.
