Nice neat little tool for 35.00. A few things I would change would be the plastic thread the knife is mounted to. You have to be real careful not to cross thread or these plastic threads will not hold up. Should be metal threads. The aluminum alloy brace for the shovel head could be steel, and an allen wrench could be included for the shovel head bolt for when it comes loose. [no big deal]. However remember this is a simple light duty backpacking, or emergency tool that is not meant to be used as a heavy duty tool and will serve its purpose if treated as so. It is definitely not an axe and something like this should never be called an axe as it simply does not have enough weight or durability for that purpose, as I believe none of them are suited for axe work. Overall a great little light duty camping, hiking, survival tool when needed and easy to carry as it is very compact at a great price.
