Good one to add to collection, or good starter.

TofTheNoWoods June 20, 2021

Good quality pics for the money. Explanations for excessive pics of nothing for some users could be from being a windy day and leaves are blowing, or if pointed too high to capture movement like any other camera mishap. We have been lucky with our set up location for this camera so far. We have five various trail camera brands so camera use isn't new to us, so this isn't necessarily unique to this camera but seemed worse for this one: if the batteries are dying and not yet totally gone, the camera lights are not totally off and no screen alerting you, so it's deceiving. You set it up, go to check the card, and there are no pics made. With it being hard to tell that the batteries are almost gone, you just wasted hours of potential footage! This was very frustrating! Knowing they were almost gone in a more apparent way would be helpful. Simple functions. Keep the little instruction booklet though. Came in handy when we were trying to figure out why the camera wasn't taking pics but camera looked like it was still on. The batteries were weak but not dead. I agree- the door is a pain to open up. If you need to lock up your camera from thieves, you have to get a separate lock box since there is nothing built in to secure a lock into for this camera. In all, if you have one good camera to buy, get a better one. If you are looking to add other one to add a view to your trail and don't want to spend too much money, it is not a bad purchase.

would not take pictures

deer hunter October 2, 2020

i bought this camara and put batteries and sd card in it, set the date in it put it on tree in woods over deer plot and left for a few days. went back and exchange sd card and went back home to check sd card and nothing was on it . it should have at least a pic of me walking up to it and away . my other wild game terra camera near by had several pics. went back and brought camera back home and let my 24 year old see if he could get it to take pictures and it never would. suppose to be most simple to use. taking it back to store.

Kicking myself for not reading the reviews first!

Karen June 6, 2021

Bought this at Walmart without reading the reviews. I won't ever do that again! The packaging and product videos are VERY MISLEADING. They both say this product can be used with the app and for this model it can't done. I purchased this product because of what the packaging says it capable of doing. This model can NOT be connected to the APP. It's also next to impossible to get the batteries out and remove the cover.

JUNK

Don't work. won't take pictures at all. swapped with 3 different SD cards and still nothing. The time wouldn't stop resting itself to the wrong time and the sd card was hard to get out. I like wildgame innovations but this camera sucks. Should have read the reviews.

Don't waste your money

RTS November 30, 2020

Purchased two of these to replace cameras to replace other Wildgame Innovations cameras that stopped working. These are by far the worst cameras I've ever used. The cover is difficult to release on both of the cameras I have and makes more noise than it should. Additionally, the time and date reset every time you check the card. This is the least user friendly camera on the market.

Put this camera out for about 3 weeks. Took OK pics. Very easy setup. At night, it looks like you get about 30 feet of flash coverage. Had it on video mode and most deer that were walking, were almost through the field before it triggered. The catch that held the battery tray failed the first time I moved the camera. Tray slid out and dumped the batteries. Used electrical tape and a stick for an interim fix. Returned to store and bought another brand.

Worthless!

scott29611 January 19, 2021

Can not recommend this camera. Takes pictures of nothing. Had 415 pictures yesterday of same shot. Just trees. Puts feed and bread out. All food was gone but no pictures of the animals that took it. Pull down cover is a pain.
