Wildlife Sciences Hot Pepper Suet Cake 10 Pack is a high-quality product. My local woodpeckers love this suet, but the squirrels hate it (thanks to the red pepper as an ingredient). The price per suet cake is less than that of other brands. Delivery was fast.
I suppose it's good the birds and woodpeckers are eating it and most of the squirrels are leaving it alone :-). Check it out 24/7 and it's FREE GTNTV.com
The "Hot Pepper" did not deter the chipmunks. They loved it. The squirrels tried it and then stayed away however. Birds did seem to enjoy it as much as the chipmunks did.
The suet was not hot pepper suet I went on and tried to use a couple cakes of it, but it was looks like regular suet there's no red or hot pepper to it. I was very disappointed, and it was too late to return it because I had opened it, not satisfied at all.
All birds used to love this suet...even blue birds. Now its nothing more than ground yellow corn with a little pepper oil added. The squirrels won't eat it, but neither will most birds!!! Its overpriced cheap suet now...
These suet cakes don't contain hot pepper. I purchased hot pepper cakes previously and the look and smell are different. The local raccoon population also has no problem eating these cakes. They have eaten every one I put out. I will enclose a pic of one cake with hot pepper purchased previously and one of thes cakes. The difference is quite noticeable. The hot pepper cake is obviously on the left side of the pic.
I'm not going to give you a passing review for an order that is still unfulfilled. I ordered the above item and 2 five-pound bags of bird seed. To date, I am still short one bag of bird seed. You have had several opportunities to correct this situation and have made promises that remain empty. Your score is actually negative. Not only do I not recommend your services, I discourage friends from trusting Walmart. You have dug a hole, probably one of many. Eventually, you will fall into the aggregate of these holes.
Sadly a waste of money, in that the squirrels love it. Other brands were effective. Look elsewhere.
Nothing will eat it. I have every sort of animal in my yard from squirrels, cats, chipmunks, eagles, fox. Every kind of bird. Nothing will eat it. I've used hot pepper suet before successfully. This is a waste of money.
Birds have not eaten any of it! Others I use don't last 3 days. These have been out for a week now!
