Best black licorice ever!! A little pricey but so worth it!! I love that it s a bit softer than others so I'll splurge on the price for that reason alone!

If you love licorice like I do, this is probably one of the most amazing products for flavor you can purchase. It is soft and chewy, which I love and it is real licorice flavor. It does have high fructose corn syrup, but in this case, I will totally excuse it. It is delicious!

If you love black licorice, this is the real stuff. It has a great texture, not too hard or sticky. Just be careful not to regularly eat too much. I love it so much, I was eating a lot every day and it raised my blood pressure. I found out the real licorice ingredient can do that. Now that I cut back to 2-4 pieces per day, it's back down again.

The flavor and texture are great, freshness was great, but the size of the pieces...I woukd like to see them cut down in size by at least three, but keep the same volume of candy in the package. These were difficult to eat because the pueces were way too large. I probably will not be buying these again in the future. I love both black and red licorice, but it is really hard to find the right flavor, texture, freshness, and size all together in the same package. This candy does meet three of the four criteria, and rates better than most brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strong smell and decent flavor but I personally didn't love the texture! You do get a lot of licorice in the bag though, it deals easily and is packaged in a nice bag with a cute design.

the price was way out of line. 14.55 for a 7.05 oz bag. I am extremely unhappy with the cost of this item and you should not allow this distributor to be a supplier. I picked up the same brand licorice at Menards and it was 3.49 for a 10 oz bag. Not happy!!!!!

NOT soft. At all. Too hard to chew, so, NOT chewy, either. Bought for my 86-year-old mother who loves black licorice. She cannot enjoy these.
