Wilkinson by Schick Hydro 5 Energize Refill Cartridges, 5 ct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Advanced is a great product. It is definately very delicate for the skin and I would say it is also almost impossible to cut yourself. I was positively surprised how well it worked considering how little I could feel it in my skin- no irritation or scratching whatsoever! The movement of the head (the part with the 5 blades) definately helps so that you don't press them too hard on your face. It is also comfortable to hold and you don't have to try and find the perfect angle all the time! The only bad thing I can say about this is that it's hard to get to places that are harder to reach (eg. just above the upper lip), sometimes leaving a slight stubble if you don't check properly, and it is slightly on the heavier side (there is a heavy reusable handle) but I would say that isn't much of a problem. Overall would definately recommend, and will surely buy again:)

It only took I pass to give a really good shave and didn’t leave any redness. The handle was really well designed and comfortable and easy to angle and glide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Advanced to test I was hoping that I would finally find a razor that I could get on with. Firstly, it is a lovely razor to handle. It fits nicely in the hand and is easy to manoeuvre. As I started to run the blades over my face i was pleasantly surprised at how easily it cut through my hairs and how smoothly it moved over my skin. I have quite sensitive skin and up to this point, however hard I have tried, I have always ended up with one or more cuts when shaving. Well, no more. I was able to have a full facial shave without one cut or nick. My skin was left feeling smooth and without any irritation. I will definitely be using this razor again. Very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good looking razor. Found it a bit clunky to use with it moving around so much but with use would probably get used to it. With a weeks worth if stubble felt like it was pulling a bit but my next shave a few days later gave a really nice shave. If I bought one I would use it a couple of times a week rather than once for a more comfortable shave.

I have been left with rashes using other razors in the past. But this is perfect for my skin type. Great design and I would highly recommend this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor feels good in the hand and provides a smooth shave. The head didn't seem to have as much flex as some other razors I've used, so I was unsure how it would be on contours, but I've no complaints about the resulting shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, it looked good and stylish, though I would have expected that. What I didn't expect, when I started to use it, was just HOW springy the blade head was. At first it was a little disconcerting, but you soon get used to and adapt to it. The shave itself was nice and smooth, and the blade did hug the contours of my face well. After shaving, it was apparent it was a nice close shave, with no irritation, which is what you would hope for and expect. All in all, a good, solid razor, but in all honesty, no more than you'd expect, and probably not different enough, or better than my current razor. If you're using older razors, I'm sure you'll be amazed, otherwise, just another good razor, that will no doubt be very expensive.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first use i was not impressed as i found the lubricant stip to thick it seemed to hold the blades to far away from my face, after adjusting my shaving style slightly it did give me a close shave and did not leave me with razor burn, one negative is the shape on top of the razor it has a raised bit of plastic i found this got in the way a bit when shaving under my nose, as with a lot of replacement blades the price can be a negative so it would depend on cost and how long they last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very good shaver with flip blades which have soap on them already - however I still use shaving foam to make shaving smoother. Handle is a bit small but sturdy, shaver will not reach everywhere at first time but this us normal for all shavers. I think price is fantastic when you compare quality of this Wilkinson and other leading brands.

The Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Advanced is a solid razor. It gives a really smooth shave without irritating my skin, and the hydration gel helps keep everything feeling comfortable. The blades last a while too, so you don't need to replace them as often. It's definitely a great choice if you're looking for a reliable razor!
