I am so grateful for these spill proof bags! I am a Barber and I work 9 hour days. I pump 3-4 times during a work day. My other pump made me nervous about hair getting inside the open slots at the top. Willow 360 gives me the peace of mind knowing no hair is getting in my babies milk.
I love my Willow 360 pump with the spill-proof bags. I'm usually moving around while I wear my Willow 360, so having my pump be spill-proof is a must for me. The bags allow my pump to be spill-proof, but also work great for storing my milk if I'm not using it right away for my baby. The bags are also perfect for storage on the go, because they can be placed in a cooler until ready to use.
These bags are great. They are super easy and fast to attach to my pumps. I've had no issues with them leaking or staying sealed. The only thing I don't like is pouring out and emptying the bags. I feel as though it's difficult to really get all the milk out.
I have a love hate relationship with these. I like pumping directly into the bag. Admittedly it took me awhile to master putting them properly in the pump. I still have occasional issues with them getting air. However i like that once im done I can just store immediately no sealing to leak worries. I do wish there was a way for them to open easier for dispensing the opening is quite narrow especially if dealing with frozen milk. I wish they were more cost effective. I use 6 a day at work. One pack lasts about 2 weeks foelr me. That or they came in larger packs.
There is definitely a learning curve with this product. The milk flows upward and into a bag rather than downward with gravity. So far, I haven't been able to express any milk using this system, even though I have no issues producing milk with my other pump so supply is not the problem. I've tried watching all the videos and troubleshooting recommendations and nothing which is very frustrating considering the price of this pump. The pump comes with a 24mm flange and a 21mm insert, but these aren't very common sizes, so you may need to purchase an additional insert to get the correct fit. I plan to buy a smaller insert and try using the milk collector cup instead of the bags to see if that improves results. Overall, I'm hoping this product will work, but it does require some trial and adjustment.
Love how easy it makes it to pump on the go, however, the bags are VERY expensive if you are an exclusive pumper like myself. This pump ended up being too intense/strong for me for now so I've put it on the shelf. I'll pull it back out later in my pumping journey to see if I've built up the ability to handle the intensity.
While the pumping with these is convenient for having two littles and being able to walk around/bend over without worrying about spilling, there are a few things that make me give it a 3 star. Emptying them is not super easy or convenient. You need a scissors and if not poured just right, the milk tends to go not where intended. I did get used to it after a while and found a way to pour it without spilling everywhere, just took getting used to that I didn't have to with regular milk storage bags. Storing in the fridge is a bit funny too with the shape and they don't hold very much milk.
I'm a just another and these bags unless super full are somewhat difficult to empty. I prefer other storage bags or using the reusable container attachment. These are nice when on the road or somewhere it would be difficult to clean all the parts.
I like that the willow comes with bags however I do not like that it leaves so much air in the bag with no way to let some of it out. For this reason I only use these bags to pump into but not to store my milk in. Due to that, it can be very wasteful.
Incredibly cost prohibitive. Also they fill with air and there's no way to release the air unless you mess with the valve. So it ends up taking up way too much space to freeze due to the added bulk from the air. I wish there was some form of a reusable bag so it was still leak free like these bags but reusable like the reusable collection containers already are.
