I really wanted to love the Willow 360, but after using it, I honestly don't think it's worth the hype or the price. especially for exclusive pumpers.
For context: I'm an exclusive pumper, I used a Spectra for 12 weeks, pump about 40 oz a day, and started using the Willow 360 at 13 weeks postpartum because I wanted something more “hands-free” for work. Unfortunately, these added way more mental load instead of taking it away.
First, the app is terrible. It's constantly trying (and failing) to connect to the pumps. You have to start in stimulation mode, and once you switch to expression, you're limited to certain suction strengths. On top of that, the app regularly mismeasures how much milk I've collected. More than once it told me I was “full,” forcing me to stop, empty the containers, and start pumping again when I absolutely didn't need to. That alone is infuriating bc it adds time to your pumping session.
They only include one charger, so you can't charge both pumps at the same time unless you buy another one. For something this expensive, that feels ridiculous.
Comfort-wise, they're nowhere near my Spectra—my Spectra is so much more comfortable and effective.
The reusable collection inserts (instead of the bags) are not included, cost extra, are hard to wash, take forever to dry, and only hold 4 oz. /120 ml. If you're an overproducer or even just average, that's incredibly limiting.
All in all I expected these to give me freedom, but instead I spend my entire pump session staring at the app, making sure it's counting correctly, that it actually reaches the suction level I want, that it's not stuck in stimulation mode,
Learning how to “flip to finish” properly took hours for me (and my husband) and so much milk (and therefore tears) was spilt while learning.
Bottom line: these did not simplify pumping for me at all. They added stress, frustration, and extra steps. At this point, honestly, walking around with a purse strap attached to my Spectra is easier and more reliable.
