Willow Creek Press Love Is Golden 1000-Piece Puzzle

Great puzzle! Just what I wanted, reasonably priced.

Absolutely adorable colorful psychedelic puzzle whose picture resembled my Yellow Lab's face so much that I just had to have it! The pieces were clean cut and as a result, minimal cutting dust was present in either the bag or box. Colors are distinctive and colorful. Love it!

Amazing colors but I was missing a piece and the pieces didn't stick together very well. It was still a fun puzzle to do.

some background: I am well on my way to owning 200 puzzles and this is my first willow creek puzzle. i do the same puzzle more than once. i have to say i was disappointed with my first willow creek puzzle. first i needed lots of glue. too many to count pieces needed glue the top layer or the bottom layer. next there were not just one or two pieces that were still connected but wholes strings of 5 or 6 pieces. these could be pulled apart, but needed some detachment force. then i got one piece that was half not cut at all; this had to be left in that state unless i wanted to try and exacto knife on it an make my own shape. next piles of puzzle dust after sorting and after completion! also some pieces will fit where they dont belong but not too many. i did not really like the piece cut of gears/clockwork it makes the puzzle far easier to do than the typical grid. the last thing is that there is an issue with the top layer cracking (see photos) as in the finish/picture each piece itself. i think due to the cutting of the pieces and again there were too many to count. If you plan on hanging this when you are done it is not suitable quality picture for that. needless to say there are a lot of production/manufacturing issues and i would not purchase willow creek puzzles again unless fixed or at a deep discount. puzzle is a glossy finish which is harder and more straining for your eyeballs to do at night in my opinion. what i liked was the thickness and sturdiness of the pieces. the abstract picture was fun/enjoyable to do. it is a puzzle that multiple people can work on at the same time. eventually i did need to use the box picture to see where all the groupings joined, since it is so abstract. groupings did have individual patterns on their own.
