Of the three Wiltech generics I've tasted (this, diet cola, diet dew) this has been the most palatable. It has the lemon lime flavor, however it also has the seltzer water taste to it that the brand names (7up, Sprite, Starry) all lack. It reminds me of a Lemon Lime Sparkling Water (for example from Schwepps) but not quite the same as that either (the seltzer flavor is less pronounced). I use this with a commercial style fountain dispenser, brixed to the 5 to 1 ratio.

Has a chemical aftertaste that is common to off-brand diet sodas. Wish I could have gotten a sample first without committing to 3 gallons of syrup that will take a long time to drink through.

Very weak taste. Does not taste like 7up or Sprite.

Not for me
The regular lemon lime was good but the diet wasn't. The syrup seemed week and made the carbonation flat. Thankfully it was easy enough to return to the store. Too bad because I was happy to have another option aside from Soda Stream.
