I am a beginner player, but this paddle is way better than the wood ones I started with. Very light, the handle is grippy so I don't lose it when swinging, and it makes the ball spin easily.
Wilson did a great job creating a balanced paddle to help control my pop ups. I love the feel of the longer paddle as well! 10/10 recommend!
This paddle has great feel, control, spin. A little longer handle for the two hand grip on some shots. I like the plain white look to it. People on the courts always ask about my new paddle.
very good touch and control but power was controllable
I like the paddle, however similar to another reviewer, the edge guard cracked after less than two weeks of play. It was not a result of abuse, hitting the ground or banging another person's paddle. The guard cracked while hitting an Onix outdoor ball on a cool morning. The good news is the online store I purchased the paddle from is replacing it free of charge and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The process has taken a couple of weeks (too long), so I have been playing with an old backup paddle. Hopefully, the issue will not reoccur. That said, there may be a quality issue with the guard that Wilson should address. There are way too many paddle choices these days for players to choose from. It's tough to answer whether I would recommend the paddle. Based on play... yes. Based on durability... no.
I play twice a week, I bought this and it broke within 3 months. It's under warranty, and they sent me a code to redeem for a replacement, but it was out of stock. I was told it would be back in stock in 2 weeks, but that's been a month ago, and it's still out of stock, with no answers as to when, if ever, it will be back to fulfill the warranty. These are very cheaply made, break easily, and you won't be able to get your money back, you will get a code only good for this paddle, no other merchandise off of the website, which is UNUSABLE, because it's out of stock.
Bought 3 paddles and they were great on the court BUT the trim on the frame is falling apart already Very disappointed
