Wilton Cupcake 3-Tier Stand, White, 0.63 lb

The only reason I can think of for the poor reviews is that folks aren't aware of what they're purchasing, so I want to be clear: This is meant to be a one time use item. It is made of cardboard and will require some assembly. I suppose you could maybe use it again, but I personally wouldn't. That out of the way, it was exactly what I was looking for. I don't typically host parties at my home, and I just wanted something simple and easy to decorate for a graduation party. That is 100% what this is. Assembly was fairly easy. I had it assembled in about 20 minutes after it arrived. That includes grabbing it off the porch, opening the package, and reading instructions. The only trouble I had was initially lining up the plates with the top of the base. Again, it's cardboard, so it doesn't hold completely straight at first. It does take some maneuvering. The outer strips went on pretty easily and has an adhesive strip, which I didn't expect, but it was a good surprise. (I still need to decorate it.) It feels pretty sturdy, better than I expected for cardboard. This will have no problems holding somewhere between 1-2 dozen cupcakes. Definitely a decent get if you don't need something for multiple events or something super nice. I wouldn't get it for a wedding, but it'd be perfect for a child's birthday party or other small event. I would purchase this again.

I needed 4 cupcake stands for a graduation party. These were inexpensive, but they served their purpose. They are made of cardboard. The only complaint that I had was that the top level barely had anything to sit on, but there were 'locks' that held them together. Without the locks, the top would tip if all of the remaining cupcakes were on the same side. Luckily that happened while I was standing there and I just needed to reset the 'locks'. All in all, I was satisfied with my purchase. I had seen some for $29 a piece and with all the other costs for the party, I really didn't want to put that much into 4 of them. I didn't have anything else to use them for, so I was looking for a disposable solution. The idea of decorating them was really nice, too. There's alot you could do for them whether it was for a baby shower, birthday, whatever.

I ordered 2 and glad that i did. They arent strong enough to hold 24 regular size cupcakes but for the price getting 2 was srill better than others i saw. The assembly was quick and easy... do not i repeat do not get them wet. One got wet and it lost its hold pretty quick. Luckly it was only one spot and i just turned it to the back.

I bought it for my daughters birthday to hold a cup cupcake. It worked out pretty well I had to recommend it.

Very unstable for trying to place 24 cupcakes on it without the cupcakes falling off or even to move across the table to another spot. Definitely not worth the $9.99 price. The quality was something I could buy at the Dollar Tree, not something Wilton brand.

This is not anything fancy. Do not purchase if you have any sort of a cupcake topper. This will work for the basic cupcakes. It is cardboard, the tabs are exposed...it is a quick last minute cupcake stand. It is stable, it will hold your cupcakes and you won't feel guilty tossing it in the trash at the end of your event.

I didn't read the description and it was not until it was delivered I realized it was made of cardboard.

These cannot be transported. They have to be assembled where you need them if not they will fall apart. Ok for the price.

This cupcake holder is made from very thin cardboard...like a dollar store item and not a brand name $10 item. The bottom tier was so weak that it kept drooping and the cupcakes slid off. I removed it and left the top two tiers. When I picked the holder up to move it, the other two tiers buckled and the remaining cupcakes hit the floor. I'm still scrubbing icing off of the table and floor.

This was a total disappointment. The Instructions were horrible to follow and the cardboard it's made out of, crinkled, and bent. When it was finally together, the appearance was bad, and I will not be using it at my daughter's wedding. We have a very nice cupcake holder, this one was just to be used for overflow, not going to happen!
