These were absolutely beautiful on a pink cake! They are hard but not "crispy", they taste like a slightly sweet wafer. I embellished them with candy glitter and candy pearls. I would most definitely purchase again!

Baked cupcakes with my 7 year old granddaughter! We were able to use these Edible roses to decorate. These light-as-air, wafer-like decorations were SO easy to use and did not provide any frustrations for my young Baker. Wilton Icing Flowers are the ideal time-saver, with beautifully-shaped petals. They're the perfect way to dress up brownies, cupcakes and other treats for parties and gifts OR just everyday FUN. Grandpa was the taste taster and he gave it a Thumbs Up!

These roses are pretty and quite durable to my standards, and they have a simple design. I like how they are elegant and that the white color blends in well with other colors as I need. In addition, these roses were bigger than what I thought, which is cool!

The Wilton Wafer Edible Rose is pretty as a decoration for baked goods. The taste is bland and the mouth feel is like chewing Styrofoam. I adapted the taste by dipping the wafer roses in frosting to contrast with the color on the cake. As an inexperienced cake decorator I found this product upped the appeal of the cake but I imagine a frosting rose would be better for looks and taste. In all I would rather have a plain cake than use these.

I've never bought flowers for baking before. I thought these Wilton wafer edible roses would look so nice for my daughters graduation party cupcakes. So I baked homeade vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Used cute graduation cupcake liners. Topped with the edible roses. I took my rose off and took a bite. Tasted like plastic and I spit it out. I thought l I bought the non edible roses by mistake. I dug the box out of the trash. I didn't see edible anywhere. Went to website and yes edible. So tried one petal. After I let it sit in my mouth it sort of melted and then was edible. Still not good but edible. I forgot to take a picture on the cupcake but took one for size. I would not purchase these. I guess if it was a cake that I could take off before eating it would be ok. My daughters also tried and quickly spit out as well. They really are delicate and look dainty. But they would not Even try a petal. I enjoy baking and love to try new things. These are just nothing something I would use. Would look great for wedding. I still would not eat. No taste.

These edible roses are really pretty. They come packed very well. When I received them they were intact. However, I just think they need to be sweeten because they don't have much of a taste for an edible rose. At least if they were a little candy like maybe some sugar added it would taste better. Though they may look pretty but it defeats the purpose of being edible if they don't have much of a taste to them just cornstarch and water. Too bad because again they are really pretty!

Please know that these ARE NOT icing flowers. They are made from 100% cornstarch and taste like styrofoam. However, they ARE very delicate and pretty. I was going to use them on a birthday cake, but ended up throwing them in the garbage after tasting a broken petal. It was quite an unpleasant surprise to discover that they aren't made from sugar. I'm sure these flowers will meet someone's expectations, but I have to give them 2 thumbs down.
