Wilton Stainless Steel Cookie Scoop

I'm a "scoop nut" and I'm very pleased with this. Easy to use, even for me with arthritis in my hand.

This is a great scooper. Making cookies has not been easier and they all come out the same size. I wished it was made in the USA but today not much is. :(

It looks just like the picture. But it does not have a solid feel. I have my own which I got 15 years ago and this one doesn't feel like it will go the distance. The movement when you squeeze it isn't smooth. I bought this online as a gift and if I had more time I would have returned it and bought another. Hopefully it lasts a year or two and doesn't break.

I bake dozens of cookies yearly for the holidays and have used Wilton products for over 30 years. Unfortunately, my old scoop needed to be retired, so I ordered a new Wilton Cookie Scoop (thinking I would be getting the same quality I was used to.) Right out of the box, I could tell this cookie scoop was cheap and flimsy. When I squeezed it together to test its durability, the spring action immediately hung up. I reset it and tried again, but it did the same thing - Needless to say, it went back into the box.

I bought this scoop at AC Moore. I own one that I bought from another manufacturing and was very pleased with it, but needed a bigger scoop. It malfunctioned during first use. The mechanism is not smooth and the scoop bar flips all over the place. I'll go back to the other manufacturer.

would give one star if i could. third time I'm using it and the spokes pop out of line and the swoopy part of the scoop that separates and pushes out the contents only go 3/4 of the way through. unusable and i need it for a party. not pleased. i thought I'd be safe with the Wilton brand name but not. i fixed it once but next scoop it just popped back out of line.

This cookie scoop is a piece of garbage. It broke the first time I used it. I didn't even get through one batch of cookies before the gear at the bottom moved and the part that scoops the dough out was sticking out of the scoop before I got dough on it. Was able to fix it, and broke the second time I used it, again couldn't get through an entire batch of cookies.

We used the cookie scoop for one batch of cookies. I washed it and put it away. Next time I tried to use it, the spring snapped off at one end, rendering the scoop useless. I'm very disappointed in the poor quality of this item and now I have to return it.
