de buyer 12.5" and winco 11" winco is much thinner and lighter. I measured 2.5mm versus slightly more than 1mm. It is not super light still 2 lb. 8.3/4 oz. but I can manage it much better than the de buyer which weighs more than 5 lb. and super heavy don't know exact weight because my kitchen scale goes only up to 5 lb. I found it much easier to unload the Winco pan when it is full of food this i cannot do with the de buyer. I would need a third hand to help transfer the food onto a plate and it is very awkward. This mighty little fry pan does a great job I was worried it might warp being thin that did not happen. It seasoned easy after I followed manufacturer∆s instructions! Important! I made a mistake just scrubbing it in hot water and seasoning came out streaky Then I found the manufacturer∆s instructions that clearly stated to boil water in the pan prior to seasoning. After I scrubbed all of my streaky seasoning out with dishsoap I boiled water in it and seasoned it 5-6 times. It's looking beautiful shiny brown now. I use it often it does a great job virtually nonstick and perfect weight for me. The handle is riveted that means it won't ever come off. One of my concerns is that the handle has a coat of paint on it and when it gets hot it becomes sticky as if the paint was beginning to melt. Just wondering what will become of it once I use it in an oven baking a pie let's say. I might use paint thinner to remove it if it will give me problems. I like this pan a lot and can say it is a keeper and deserves more attention. I bought a french crape pan back and compared its thickness to the Winco pan-and can clearly see they are exactly the same. That crape pan never ever warped despite of its thin walls. For me the Winco pan does everything as well as the more expensive pan does. At this price it is worth a try.
