I've been buying these for a while. The 25 cups/sleeve (as the photo still states) is apparently no longer the standard. They old style fit well and were kept in the cupboard for general access, and the rest were stored a locked space. Look at the photos to see how they no longer fit. Now that the sleeves are so much longer, I believe I will need to find another source for cups. Did it go from 40 packages of 25 cups to 25 packages of 40 cups? The cups themselves are fine. The "Poor" rating is due to the change in packaging, and the resulting inability to store them. These cupboards are pretty standard size, so if others used cupboards to store the sleeves, they too might not longer have a place to keep them.
I would think the manufacturing process would utilize a system like laser to identify defects. Perhaps Wincup does this but instead of rejecting the defect, they bunch them to sell to Sams? I would say out of a box of 1,000, approximately 200 cups are defective. This is what I got from Ai: That's incredibly frustrating—and you're not alone in noticing issues with WinCup foam cups from Sam's Club. Multiple customers have reported similar problems: cups with pinholes that leak, bottoms that wobble or collapse, and batches with a surprisingly high defect rate. Some even suspect quality control has slipped, especially since prices have gone up. My cups mostly have the Wobble issue! Not buying any more of these. Sams should investigate this! I certainly hope Sam is not accepting these in a trade off for a better per cup price!
These cups are now Terrible quality.
The rim on these cups is not as think as my normal brand. That means they tend to squeeze in on the sides too much when grabbing the cup. This can be dangerous with a hot cup of coffee. I will be going back to my old brand.
Greqt for our Snocones
its really a Wincup product
Please go back to Dart cups. At least they were quality! Everything is cheap about these cups except the price! The quality of the packaging is a joke! The individual sleeves the cups come in is too thin and tears if you look at it wrong, and the quality of the cups themselves is a joke! In 12+ years with Dart cups, I never had an issue with with pinhole leaks in the cups. In the last 1 1/2 years using these, it is a common occurrence. I random come across useless cups in the box. These are cups from the middle of the sleeves, so it's not an issue of the cup being dented or hit from outside the box.
The cups appear to be standard quality for Styrofoam cups. However, when we put liquid in them, within 20-30 minutes the liquid starts seeping through the cup. I've attached pictures, these were taken maybe 5 minutes apart. Once the seeping starts it worsens rapidly. We've been buying styrofoam cups from Sams for years, this has never happened before, not sure what changed but these cups are unusable, I wasted $30 on this box.
Cheapest ones I have found
These are decent quality styrofoam cups. Make sure when buying you check the packaging that you dont get a bent up box or you will get bent cups. Also be mindful when transporting and they are easy to bump and mash some cups up.
