Good product. Works well.
Cleans well, great value, not so many plastic bottles in the landfill and bucket could easily be used for storage
Gets the clothes clean. It also helps keep the tub clean by not using liquid laundry detergent. I use on my self cleaning cycle once a month. This container lasts a long time
This is a good laundry detergent to get out greasy spots and dirt. It doesn't have that much of a fragrance to it either. If you want your clothing to smell really nice add fragrance booster and fabric softener to each load. The only thing I don't like about this laundry detergent is the price is really outrageous! This product use to only cost between $6-$10 dollars at Sam's Club but now it is basically $20 a bucket.
This company is a scam, they will not deliver their customers , marked the order as delivered, when customers asked for refund, they did not care
Why do so many detergents have a strong scent? I dont want my laundry to reek of someone else's idea of a good smell. Most of them are just excessively perfumey - gag!
We have used windfresh for years since they went from the round bucket to the rectangular bucket with a blue lid to the current rectangular bucket with a white lid. Not only is the bucket cheaper quality, but I will be returning the newest product because it stinks up the room when the lid is briefly open with a dirty foul odor like wet dirty dish rags and socks. And the laundry retains a little of the fowl odor after two rinse cycles. I have 3 full buckets since I keep one in the pantry, and have two stacked by the washer so we do not have to bend over to get the detergent. I had several family members sniff test the 3 buckets. The previous blue lid product smells fresh/clean, the new product smells terrible to all, with variation: both new buckets smell bad, but one is much stronger. Very offensive fowl odor. Please return original product, original manafacturers, original formula, and I prefer either of the last two bucket designs over the current. I will look for the old blue or yellow lid as a sign your product is safe to buy and use again for another 20 years. Thank you.
We purchased this laundry detergent a few weeks ago for the first time. The amount you get for the price seemed amazing and we are always up for trying something new if the price is right. The powder does not completely dissolve in the wash and leaves white blotches on the clothes. It has also left a residue all around the washing machine drum. This is the ONLY product I have ever had a complaint about from Sam's.
This soap was great for over 10 years. In 2023, I noticed fat residues in my washing machine tub. I thought it was grease from the tub bearings of my washing machine. I did an experiment today in 2024 washing the same load of clothes 4 times with a full scoop of this soap each time. It initially will form suds without the clothes. But when the clothes are added, the suds disappear. In addition, the fat greasy residue will precipitate on the agitator below the water line and on the inside tub above the water line. I used a clean dry T-shirt to clean the fat residue between loads of running the same clothes 4 times. I did use a different soap on the 5th load and it had plenty of suds throughout the wash and there were no fat residues. I can confirm this soap has been cheapened and it s quality lowered by an insufficient saponization process when the soap was made. In other words, the are too many fat molecules that weren't converted to soap and they end up in your washing machine and your clothes.
I hate this detergent. I found that it clogged up my drainline with a gritty white residue that felt like clay mixed with sand.
