This Windmill air conditioner might cost more than others but it has an Energy Star which many other air conditioners don't have. So it costs less to use. It is also much quieter than other brands. It might have been easier to install but like all window air conditioners it is heavy and requires two people to set in the window.
Easy to put in with the extensions on the side fitting perfectly. Love the WiFi and it's quiet. However mine didn't come with a remote but I don't ahold of Windmill and they're sending one out!
The writing on the box says the air conditioner of your dreams!! And it is true I have never had a quieter air conditioner!!
This is the best window air conditioner I’ve ever owned. It was so easy to install and is whisper, quiet and cools the room down to a very comfortable temperature.
I bought two from Walmart and one end up lost in the middle of no where ._. So I manage to setup one. It's heavy for sure but it is the most easy setup I've ever done. I've used Midea before, much complicated than this. And this AC also sounds very very quiet compare to the old Midea I had. Definitely recommended lol!!! I really really love it!

Very quiet A/C. Looks decent when installed. The foam board sides panels don't seem as high quality as the rest of the machine itself. The unit does not blow out a large amount of air, but still does a good job in keeping the room nice and cool
Like everyone else who bought this newer one, the fan is clunky and off balance and ridiculously loud when it kicks on. Sounds like it’s going to come flying through the unit. Serious defect.
The unit is not as cold as the old Frigidaire I replaced. It does not cool the room quickly and retains a lot of water in the unit itself. I will be returning it.
As much as I wanted to really like this ac, it was extremely loud whenever the compressor turned on to the point where it would rattle and shake my bedroom windows. I could never get used to it so I had to return it. The return was easy at least
