I'm using one for my window with the AC unit in it, my sliding glass door for extra security to a wobbly bar, and gave one to a friends neighbor who's car window is between repair and won't stay up. Absolutely universal
If you need to keep a toddler from opening the sliding door I would recommend this item. Price was great too!

easy and practical to use, yet very safe for kids
All in all great product the only problem that I have with it is the fact that it leaves a gap so if your animal or your kid does try to open the sliding door or a window, it will make an inch maybe an inch and a half of a gap of a Opening, which kind of defeats the whole purpose when you're trying to run AC during the hot summer days
Does not function. The window cannot slide past the lock when it is closed, it is too thick for the window to go over.
