Got this game as a gift and my brother loves to play this game!

We love this game! Ads declare this is for age 10 and up, but when the box arrived it was for ages 14 so I was a little disappointed. However, our 8 year old is playing the game and loving it. In fact, shes already won one. The instructions are a little intimidating, but the game comes with a first-time player set of cards that teaches the game with step-by-step move instructions for four rounds. What a game changer for first time players! By the fourth round we were playing on our own. Smart move on the game makers part! There are also YouTube videos on the game site that demonstrate. Once you know how to play, this game is amazing. It keeps our 8 year old engaged enough to play to completion. No requests to quit the game early and that is huge!

I find that I'm drawn to board games that are visually well done, educational, and have lots of components. This game is all of that. The objective is attract birds to your aviary. Each card contains info about the bird's habitat, nest type, etc. The game play is enjoyable, but there can be a learning curve if the rules aren't explained thoroughly. Lots to remember, but not necessarily a hard game to learn.

Fun game if you like slow paced, few steps ahead thinking, strategy type games!

they had a lot of bubble wrap around a. damaged game box. I ordered it from a private seller and cannot recall if the damage was in the description of the product. I guess you get what you pay for. game isn't my favourite after 1 play, but maybe it will grow on me. it's a basic game and much of the strategy depends on how good the cards are that you get and what food is available in the bird feeder.

This game is much more complicated than I had first anticipated. We tried to play it with some younger nieces and nephews and they quickly lost interest in the process of trying to figure it out. I feel the quick start is basically useless as it just tells you steps to mimic but not really why or what kind of strategy is evolving int he process. We will figure it out as I have many friends that love the game. I think I will try to find a tutorial on Youtube.

Two things. The first major one is that we received two sets of yellow, and no green in this game. There are supposed to be 5 different colors of 8 (So that you can play this game with with 5 players). We received red, purple, blue, and then yellow twice (16 pieces of yellow). We didn't need all 5 for our purposes on the first night, so it was okay, but now we need to find a work-around for a 5th player. Everything else in the game was good, and the quality of the rest of the pieces/cards are great. The other thing is this was delivered a day later than expected. Normally, this is fine, but I shipped it to my sister for a game night we were going to have, and it wasn't delivered for said game night (Which was the stated delivery date). It did come the next day in the early am, but it was too late to use for the previous night.

I have played the game elsewhere and wanted to give this as a gift. The seller shipped the game without a box. It only had the original shrink wrap with a shipping label slapped on. The game box arrived with several scuffs and the cardboard was beat up badly at the corner revealing the inner layers. Great game, terrible business practices.
