As an allergy sufferer I shopped for an air purifier for several weeks and tried various models . This one was by far the best! I also bought the C535 which is nearly identical functionally. After just one week of use the pre filter looked like the lint trap in my dryer! I couldn't believe how much dust, dirt, pollen etc it was pulling out of the air. Aside from that, the best part is how quiet this unit operates. I am very sensitive to sounds and returned several other models for this reason. This makes a soft wooshing noise with no buzzing or vibrating noise at all. Great unit at a great price and I am definitely breathing easier!

It had been recommended to me and Walmart had the best price! I was going to buy another one but the price jumped way up. I will keep looking to see if it goes down again. It has worked as advertised and has been perfect in our great room!

Just love this air purifier! After doing extensive research I ordered this one for my bedroom as my husband has developed allergies. Within a few days, he stopped coughing. I love that you can clean the 1st filter by washing it in the kitchen sink. I now will invest in another one (bigger model) for my open living/kitchen area. Highly recommend!

I'm happy to report that this is a quality product. It arrived during the current pollen season and just in time. It's very quiet. Within a day or two I was no longer waking up with allergy eye and nasal congestion. My eyes are happy now. I am breathing clearly and sleeping better.

Came home from work and didn't notice a thing. I'd say that's pretty good. Smelled nothing in the house but fresh air. I have a cat (litter, cat food, emptied cat food cans, etc. ) And I had smoked in the house that morning. My new Winix 5300-2 had been running while I worked and took care of every possible odor in the air. Can't ask for better than that. Plugged it in when I got it, it played the tune and started out on blue, went to amber and then red. I ran it on the third fan setting and very quickly the red turned to blue and has been that way ever since. It's quiet and I feel that it's the best addition to the house since the cat. The Winix is everything good reviewers said about it and I'm buying a second one for the bedroom and master bath area. Simple and easy and an attractive piece.

Me and my girlfriend share an apartment and she has guinea pigs. I was sick for two months before i realized it was my allergies to them it was miserable. She wanted to keep them so I ordered this product and it worked great. It it very quiet unless the fan speed is maxed and the indicators works fast. I had cooked a pizza and before she could smell the smoke the light went red.

No complaints here....the plasma light lets you know if there is a contaminant in the air, or an odor...example hair spray. You will notice the fan reves up. Very quiet. Read the instructions carefully concerning placement of item. It must be 4 inches from the wall, etc. in order for it to work properly.

Excellent product...this is my second unit of the same model I've had for two years. I bought this so I wouldn't have to move the first one between living room and bedroom.

I'm so happy I purchased this specific unit. I could tell a big difference in the air within 2 days. I was going to buy another one but it went out of stock. Hopefully it will be back in stock soon.

Set up easily and started producing nice comforting clean air Nice quiet operation. The unit is easy to move and blends in well with different rooms. I been using the air purifier for two weeks now and am happy. Just wish I had bought the washable filter as I believe this one will fill up quickly.
